Who’s Tracy, Episode 5, New Powers Revealed And More Spoilers For Heroes Season 3 !

We have just got some scans from the new issue of SFX where you can read some really really interesting Heroes Season 3 spoilers.

Who’s Tracy actually, spoilers for episode 5 and 8 , Angela and more !

Take a look at scans! Later, we’ll write down a spoiler summary.

  • “As the recently discovered member of the Sanders triplets, Tracy is none too happy that the truth of her lineage has been kept from her throughout her life. Having never met her now deceased sisters, Tracy has no memory or context of where she’s from, or of her “special genetics”. She has Mama Petrelli to thank for that as it’s finally revealed in this episode that The Company actually created these genetic “superheroes” with their DNA tinkering long ago. To the dismay of her son and Tracy, Angela reveals that she and ‘dead’ patriarch Arthur (to be played by Robert Forster), amongst others, were trying to be better than God.”
  • At the end of Episode 5, “Angels and Monsters,” we will be introduced to the “Big Bad.” “It’s very interesting who he is and how close he is to the characters already established. Something we are doing this year that we didn’t do as much last year is humanising our villains. We are understanding where they came from and why the things they hold as important to them are important to them.” The Big Bad will have a power referred to as the Vortex associated with him. It’s that “negative space where he can completely obliterate something or someone and get rid of them with no return.”
  • We will also get a chance to explore the backgrounds of the villains in episode 8. “One you hear his argument for what they want to do, you think that might not sound so bad…”
  • Angela and Arthur Petrelli will face off, according to Adrian Pasdar. “There’s stuff that becomes very patriarchal. It flips mom to dad and then they both stand up like those Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em robots,” he laughs about a parental Petrelli smackdown coming soon. “When the two of them stand up - Cristine (rose) and Robert Forster - it’s fantastic!”

  7. Mihajlo on September 22nd, 2008 1:29 am

It would be cool if Arthur Petrelli was one of the villains that were imprisoned in level 5, but that’s not very possible to happen is it?

Anyway he might be a bad guy.

  8. matt on September 22nd, 2008 8:59 am

It wud be cool to see the backgrounds of the villains.

Angela & Arthur will face off!!

The Big Bad will have a power referred to as the Vortex associated with him. It’s that “negative space where he can completely obliterate something or someone and get rid of them with no return.” Sounds very intriguing!!

Angela Petrelli is Tracy’s mum or have I read that wrong? Which SON is Angela talking about?

    Thanks Matej

i got from a very very reliable source that the surprising connection between sylar and a similar male character, as mentioned in some earlier spoilers, is that sylar and peter are brothers and nathan was adopted. this shit is gonna be craaaaazaaaay

  11. puck on September 22nd, 2008 11:39 am

    Tonight’s the night people:)

This negative space ability is really intriguing. I noticed that in one of the upcoming episodes (4 or 5 i believe), peter acquires an ability that very dangerous and unstable. Maybe it’s this ability?

It also looks like Sylar retained his ability to see the future as shown in a recent sneak peak and has control over it.

I really hope the writers have Peter pay a visit to Molly Walker. With Her Clairvoyance and Peter’s ability to teleport (furture peter), it could mean some really interesting times.

I also feel for some reason that the battle between Arthur and Angela is going to be played out by their pawns, mainly Sylar et all.

Can’t wait to see if i’m right!!!

the description for 3.05 mentions a villain [stephen canfield, played by andre royo] with the ability to create black holes—-could this be him?

  14. Matej ( Heroes Television) on September 22nd, 2008 11:14 pm

    Yes, it’s him!

  15. SuperBugs on September 22nd, 2008 11:32 pm

I always thought that Sylar and Peter were fraternal twins since their powers are similar/their names are quite significant as well in terms of theology……

I hope that Nathan is still a relative and not adopted. It would change the Peter?Nathan dynamic too much………

The whole genetic manipulating is cool………

I also read somewhere that Ando was mama Petrelli’s love child with Mr. Sulu…………..

    Should be awesome!!!!!

  16. Chip on September 23rd, 2008 9:57 pm

How many childs did you said?? Peter, Sylar, Ando, Nathan… all more or less the same age? OMG Peter, Sylar and Ando are Triplets too!!! What a party with the Sanders :P

  17. Matej ( Heroes Television) on September 23rd, 2008 10:11 pm

I really don’t believe that Sylar is actually Angela’s son, there’s something more deeper and darker in here

  18. SuperBugs on September 23rd, 2008 11:03 pm

I think that somehow all the characters are somehow related as they are most likely a result of genetic manipulation or whatnot…….

There has to be something more about the previous generation that affects this crop of “special” individuals. The bad bunch, those who wanted to destroy the world and start over, probably engineered a lot of the biology of their offspring, hoping they would come together………..

Now what I am thinking, after the biological mother revelation, is that perhaps Sylar and the potential other child are products of in vitro fertilization. Sylar’s mother gave “birth” to him, but the fertilized egg belonged to mama Petrelli………

    Who knows………

One question… how can the company claim responsibility for the superheroes if Adam (and a few others in the graphic novel) have acquired their abilities long before there even was a company? or were they experimenting to find out How they got their own powers? If that’s the case then i would understand but if not… then that would be a huge mess in the whole continuity. As for Tracy being the triplet, totally got caught off guard there… like others i assumed more wilder theories. overall its starting up to be an interesting season.

SuperBugs, Peter and Sylars powers really aren’t the same though.

Peter ability is that he can absorb and use the powers of other ’special’ humans.

Sylars power Intuitive aptitude. He can analyze something and understand exactly how they work without special training in said subject.

The only reason Sylar can mimic other people power like Peter is because he’s crazy and opens up their brain and sees what makes them work. If he never went crazy and killed people, he’d never be able to do what Peter does.

Peter emulating powers IS his power, Sylars power is just knowing how things work. Sylar emulating powers is a manual thing he’s learned how to do because of his power and technically isn’t what’s ’special/evolved’ about him so they are two very different things.

Also, Sylars name didn’t come from theology (even if it may appear there), he took it because it was the brand of a watch he was fixing.

This gives me a bit more hope for the season. I honestly didn’t like the openers and there were a lot of plot holes in it. It sounds like they are planning on eventually tying it all together. I don’t believe that Sylar is really Ma Petrellis son, I’ll be surprised if she is. I’ll also be annoyed if they make Nathan adopted and give Claire and Peter a reason to ‘hook up’ since they are no longer related. I now some fans have been screaming for that since they are really dating. If it turns out Nathan and Peter aren’t genetically related I don’t think it will affect their relationship a whole lot as they still grew up and have lived as brothers. It will be a shock I’m sure, but it wont take away what they’ve been through.

  21. viscarra on September 25th, 2008 9:23 pm

sylar absorbs the part of the brain that triggers the ability, through his hands. you can hear him pull out a piece of claires brain in the first ep. He would take the whole brain from his victims when he knew he didnt have time to analyze it on site, thats why the brains where missing when the fbi or police showed up.

the brain triggers the adrenoline glands to work, thats why claire was able to heal that part of her brain, for her once its triggered it cant be taken or stopped. its very possible that she is the “light” that hiros father referred to as the key to stop the destructive formula, the one with pure blood. thats why he gave her to noah, being that he can see how things play out, he knew that noah wouldn’t turn her over to the company. keeping her safe, and accesable if things turn dark.

why is suresh turning into jeff goldblum though?? jk
i do like the fact that he is turning into the lizard/gecko that his father named after him. his fate has been forshadowed in the comics. so maybe its his time to become his own nightmare. the curse of his family bloodline come to fruition.

should be a great season though, it always keeps me on my toes.

  22. Puck on September 26th, 2008 10:52 am

    Hey viscarra,

Is it more likely that what you hear is Sylar playing around with the grey matter? You’ll notice that after almost every examination/biopsy, his hands, particularly his fingers, are covered in blood, which indicates to me that he is literally poking around inside these people heads.

I feel that Sylar’s Victims have to be have be alive when he’s Doing his…examinations, or at least, the body and brain have to have been killed recently.

Either that or Sylar’s character is just nuts and has no sympathy for people whatsoever. With his mastery over his ability, which he demonstrated as early as his first encounter with Matt and Audrey(levitating back up after being struck by parkman’s bullets and using his telekinesis as a means of physical protection) in season 1, it seems likely to me that he could have developed some means of incapacitating his subjects so they felt no pain.

All of his victims were killed while they were conscious and still alive.

Maybe he attempted to be humane and utilize some form of anesthesia with Molly walker’s father, whom he froze solid? Jury’s still out with that one…

There’s one thing that has been brought up concerning another aspect of Sylar’s ability, namely the ability to detect the differences in people and determine who was special from who wasn’t.

For instance, in a episode in season one, i believe ep 18 or 19, Sylar encounters ANDO and pins him to the wall telekinetically. A terrified ando asks Sylar if he;s going to take/eat his brain, to which Sylar replies, after a brief examination of ando with a discerning eye, he replies ” You have nothing that i want…”

He also demonstrated this ability During his first encounter with Brian Davis, the donor of his telekinesis ability. He looks at brian and determines that he’s “Broken”. I’m not sure if i’m just reading too much into the scenes or not, but wonder if the writers are even aware of that?

There’s a lot of inconsistencies that stick out to me when you look at seasons 1 and 2. That being said….

    I “£”$£$% love this show!!!!:)

Okay i think i know who the BIG BAD i read the epsiode desription for angel and monsters and it ses claire goes after her 1st villain who can create BLACK HOLES and from what the spoiler says his powers sounds the same to the black hole man lol

  24. Farley Grout on September 28th, 2008 8:52 pm

    Uhhh, SuperBugs!
While I don’t see more “theological significance” in the
biblical names of Sylar and Peter (either one of them)
than the “Image of Jeezuz” in the random pancake
displayed on the cover of the Enquirer, you need to pay
a bit of intention to what the poster meant.

“Sylar” is his Nom d’Villain, a nickname he picked (yes,
off the face of a watch) but his NAME is “Gabriel”.
The biblical Peter was J.C.’s “First Buddy” and carried
on His mission by becoming the first pope. Gabriel was
the very militant angel God sent out to fight His biggest foes
and otherwise kick ass when He needed to intimidate
someone. WOW! The pattern is…… Wait! No pattern.
Just two names that happen to come from the Bible.
Like the names of 50% or so of all Americans.

I really don’t believe that Sylar is actually Angela’s son, there’s something more deeper and darker in here

Maybe he’s Arthur Petrelli’s son & NOT Angela’s? Since Arthur is dead, Angela will be Sylar’s guardian angel so to speak.

Kevin, I originally thought it was that guy too {Andre Royo ~ Stephen Canfield}. But I re-read the article & I am pretty sure its Arthur Petrelli!! How, I don’t know? Considering he’s a dead man!!

What I found most interesting was the bit that says: Tracy faces off with Nathan Petrelli against the ever-machinating Angela Petrelli.

Also about episode 5 & all the DNA stuff.

    Thanks for the scans Matej!!
