May I know the video url? please?

Matej ( Heroes Television) August 28, 2008 at 2:41 pm

Hmmm… this ?

Or what?

Cristian August 28, 2008 at 3:41 pm

cool, villains v heroes cant wait for season 3, i say that jessica is quite powerful with her personality the ability to literally rip people in pieces. so angela power is procognitive dreams it seems quite obvious now. since peter first started having dreams of him flying and him exploding. i didn’t think that would count as a power because i thought it happened to all the the heroes, put know i’ve been proved wrong.

season 3 WILL BE the best.

vanecher August 28, 2008 at 7:02 pm

How did Knox get to chop of Claire’s head?
Anyway I always new that her powers had to do with something like that after reading a spoiler saying that she had a power and that Peter already used it before and those precognitve dreams came to mind.

Matej ( Heroes Television) August 28, 2008 at 7:51 pm

The last time I was reading about Knox it said that his power is animal mimicry, so he easily could do it …

Tarot August 28, 2008 at 8:20 pm

I’ve had a few dreams like that. Usually I’m not so quiet when I wake up… I’m hoping at least some of this gets used. Really well done.

matt August 29, 2008 at 1:40 pm

What is animal mimicry?

When Jessica, Adam, Knox & Maury walks into that doorway with Angela & Sylar looking on, that just looks amazing & yet freightening at the same time. I can see Knox being one of my fave villains come Volume 3.

I have a question. Is the scene between Hiro above where he got stabbed by his own Samurai sword & where Angela had that dream when she’s sitting in that car. Will that entire scene be added in Volume 3 or will they leave it out? Cos it fits very well with the rest of the dark, creepy Level 5 Volume 3 promos that I have seen so far.

Many thanks

derrick s August 29, 2008 at 4:48 pm

aww man i cant wait to see season three because thats crazy how these people killed everybody even peter but who is the black dude someone let me know???

matt August 29, 2008 at 8:10 pm

Derrick; the dark skinned guy is Benjamin ”Knox” Washington.

elisabeth August 29, 2008 at 10:11 pm

what happens to molly in season three?

M August 30, 2008 at 1:02 am

Well, apparently Adam being old isn’t permanent. Good. But I feel bad. Matt bit the dust in this vid.

heroesultrafan August 30, 2008 at 10:52 am

Can anyone tell me what animal minicry means?

anonymous August 30, 2008 at 2:05 pm

animal mimicry is the ability to mimic the abilities of animals. for example, the person with this power could have the strength of a lion, the speed of a cheetah, etc.

i also found these other things out: future peter petrelli is the person who shot nathan at the end of season 2, ando (hiro’s friend) is one of the relatives to the petrellis, claire is the one that sylar will kill at the beginning of the season, linderman is back, suresh’s power makes him a lot like spider-man, and kaito nakamura’s power is pretty much the same thing as hiro’s. hope this helps!

anonymous August 30, 2008 at 2:06 pm

o…and noah bennett is not only going to get along with sylar, but he also has some powers to!

Julian August 30, 2008 at 2:24 pm

Heroes seriously suck when the Minor Characters have powers too…Suddenly!
Imagine all the Major and Minor Characters have powers.. ._.
That`ll make the powers un-unique,ordinary and not outstanding…
Thus, making the Major Characters dull and boring…
Even some Major Characters shouldn`t have powers too like Mohinder,Ando,HRG…etcs…
As what i heard,Ando is changing from Minor to Major Character…

micky August 30, 2008 at 2:32 pm

shouldnt peter still be alive it looked like he was stiring but he was just falling but he should heal shouldnt he? he had a lot of cuts but his head was still there. was sylar there to stop them or was he with them?

derrick s August 30, 2008 at 3:18 pm

yah and plus claire isnt dead just put her body back together and use her blood to heal everybody right????

Ravenz2008 August 31, 2008 at 12:40 am

I’m assuming that video was the original promo for Villains, that’s why it appears on the season 2 dvd, or it’s one of the scenes from episode 2×13, which never aired. Chances are that scene will not be reused, but who knows?

@ Anonymous, Kaito’s power is not the same as Hiro’s, there’s a video on youtube/etc showing Kaito’s power of (Accelerated Probability?).

Also, HRG doesn’t have abilities, you guys are confusing what was written on that spoiler page. When it says “Noah is “gifted”,” it means Sylar’s son Noah (in the future 4 years from now) – or so I’m assuming, but I might be wrong too.

Ando only has powers in the future when Hiro sees Future Ando kill Future Hiro. A big theme of villains is probably going to focus on this formula for abilities and other people getting them. Also on destroying or controlling the formula (my speculations anyways).

Side note, not sure if it’s been mentioned before or not, but I think Sylar has some sort of Shadow Manipulation ability, where he can move quickly through the shadows. That’s how he snuck up on Dale and made no footsteps and how he escaped Parkman at the beginning of season one. Also it’s how he snuck up on Angela in this promo =p.

And while I’m on the topic, another ability Sylar may have might be to store away pockets of power inside him. That would explain how he kills Eden and escapes the bullet from Mohinder in season 1. Also Zachary Quinto mentions something about storing away power in one of the Heroes Unmasked videos on the heroes evolutions site.

The scene where he is in Clair’s house and she can’t see him…some people were saying it was claude’s power, but if you watch one of the deleted scenes from episode 2×13 on the season 2 disc you see Sylar kill a “chameleon” girl (who is a boy in a different promo who says “you can’t hurt me” to sylar). I assume they won’t use that scene since it’s on the season two deleted scenes…but it would be safe to assume Sylar still collects a camouflage/chameleon ability whether they show it on the show or not.

Just my two cents!

i would prefer if Sylar collected Robert Keeps power…

having impenetrable skin… would make Sylar the perfect killer…

but i who knows if this will ever happen with new things that have been put in motion…

Ravenz2008 August 31, 2008 at 2:04 am

Yeah, there’s lots of interesting combinations of powers he could acquire…maybe Paula’s power of Augmentation, so maybe he could make his own powers stronger?! Or…gravity manipulation?! He could “fly” or make other people fly off into space forever haha!

matt August 31, 2008 at 12:36 pm

I sure hope they include those Sylar scenes in Volume 3. Maybe they can change the scene where Sylar bumps into Robert Keeps in the rest room & gets his power & it looks a bit crap lol

As for the “Chameleon” girl, along with Robert Keep’s Impenetrable skin, I think with those two abilities, Sylar will be an even better, more cooler Villain. & Tim Kring shud definately make sure Sylar gets those abilities come Volume 3.

This Shadow Manipulation ability, it sounds intriguing. If someone has got that ability, can they float in thin air? Is that how Sylar killed Dale Smither or did he somehow use his telekinesis powers to float in the air? Either that or one of the 6 people on The List has the Levitation ability which I think that Egyptian guy has got?

I think Molly is still with Matt, Mohinder & possibly Maya? But I have to rewatch season 2 to make sure.

Ravenz, can u give me the link to see kaito’s powers on youtube, please?

i wonder how linderman survived, seeing as part of his brain was missing and he was the only one who could heal.

Matej ( Heroes Television) August 31, 2008 at 2:19 pm
Ravenz2008 August 31, 2008 at 2:49 pm

My guess as to how Linderman survived…is either he has some sort of self-resurrection ability or maybe someone else brought him back…maybe he’s back by other sort of means. Either way, it’s super cool!

jane doe... September 1, 2008 at 6:07 am

most likely they’re gonna go with the cheap blood trick…

Ravenz2008 September 1, 2008 at 8:06 am

I remember them saying they had a way to keep that heal-anything blood under wraps so it’s not too powerful, and I would assume that you can’t bring back someone who has actually died with the blood. The blood probably wouldn’t do much if Linderman’s brain was still outside of his body – my speculations.

Anyways, I’m sure Linderman will be back by more creative means ;)

derrick s September 1, 2008 at 9:35 pm

yea you can bring the dead back to life remember when noah died he got shot in the eye and they used clairs blood to bring him to life he was completely dead. but as far as lindermans brain being ripped out i am not sure though.

jane doe... September 1, 2008 at 10:35 pm

brain ripped out…?

honestly… that just never happened.

Ravenz2008 September 2, 2008 at 1:49 am

Well, we don’t know if HRG was completely dead, he might have still had some “life in him” or maybe you can’t be dead/gone too long or the blood won’t work. There’s no way to know yet how exactly that works since the writers haven’t revealed it (or so I believe they haven’t)

Meathook49 September 2, 2008 at 8:46 am

I’m betting Knox will have an ability similar to the T-1000 from Terminator 2. When he killed Claire, there was a distinct chop noise. Kinda disturbing and shocking at first, but seeing it a couple times desensitized me. Now I wonder which father character is gonna get decapitated? I bet it’ll be Bob!

AK September 4, 2008 at 3:44 am

If any of you had read the spoilers about Linderman, you would know that he is indeed dead. Nathan is supposedly able to see his ghost after his near-death experience.

Zack September 4, 2008 at 1:25 pm

Peter DEFINITELY got those dream powers from Angela. That’s obvious…

Zack September 4, 2008 at 6:52 pm

Oh and that’s also probably the equivilant of Peter’s dream in Season 1 where he dreams about blowing up with everyone there in the middle of the street. When it actually happens that’s not how it happens, Nathan flies him into the air. I bet something like that will happen at season’s end, but the outcome will be different.

Anonymous September 4, 2008 at 9:55 pm

linderman also had a previous girlfriend, so she could have saved him…her power is aura absorption…she can take people’s powers and energy just by touching them…this makes her worst than sylar and she could have taken an ability that would save her boyfriend…I SURE HOPE SHE IS IN!!!!

Jesse September 4, 2008 at 10:00 pm

Can we really suspect that Peter took the dereams/premonitions powers from Angela?…..I remember that in one ocation Simone told Peter that her father told her that he had a dream in which Peter took him flying out of the window. Perhaps Peter took that ability from Mr. Deveaux; the reason why I suspect this is that in one of the trailers I saw Angela moving her hand strangely while standing in the level 5 building.

Zack September 5, 2008 at 2:41 am

This is such a freaky video, but I love it…

Jesse September 5, 2008 at 7:19 pm

I like to elaborate on my preview comment. What if Matt Parkman’s father implanted those premonitions on Angela’s dream? I strongly believe that there is more to her than what we all expect.

Yadada September 8, 2008 at 7:25 am

All this talk about Sylar having “shadow manipulation” it could be true…
But guys, seriously. He has telekinesis – If he can move things with his mind, why can’t he lift himself up to levitate.

As for Angela’s powers – i think she’s an accurate “what if” machine.
Allowing her to see the outcomes if she or another person would have done this or that.

Also – “Chameleon Girl” Her ability is similar to invisibilty but camoflauge – A chameleon adapts it’s skin to the environment to render itself invisible BUT you can still see the outline of the body, if you’re aware enough – Invisibilty – The user bends light so the person see straight through them as if nothing is there at all!

The Second Coming – Read this and maybe it will give you a glimpse of what’s the come in Heroes;

Second Coming is the anticipated return of Jesus Christ from heaven to earth, an event that will fulfill aspects of Messianic prophecy, such as the general resurrection of the dead, the last judgment of the dead and the living and the full establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth (also called the “Reign of God”), including the Messianic Age.

Hmm… >.>”

s.k.74 September 8, 2008 at 5:54 pm

I didn’t think before that Sylar had Shadow Manipulation (I thought that he sneaked up on Dale ’superhearing’ Smithers using his telekinesis), but after thinking about how he escaped from Matt Parkman and the FBI lady in Season 1 (he disappeared TOO quickly), and after seeing how he moves when chasing Claire through her house in the trailer for Season 3, I have to admit that I’m now a believer! And I am sure that he got this ability from none other than… James Walker (Molly’s father).

All the evidence suggests that James Walker was frozen BEFORE his head was given a removable lid (no blood on face, frozen in mid-bite while eating breakfast, etc). Sylar doesn’t strike me as the type that would take James’ ability (if it was Cryokinesis), wipe the blood from his victim’s head, set him up in a pose of eating breakfast like some sort of mannequin… and THEN freeze him! Makes no sense to me, how about any of you?

But if Mr. Walker could move through shadows with the speed that Sylar now can… It makes perfect sense that he would have to be slowed down – or FROZEN – and then his skull could be sliced open (leaving no blood). And since he was taken by surprise while eating his meal, that’s how he was found, still frozen.

If anyone can do better than this theory and come up with a CONVINCING and LOGICAL explanation of how Sylar stole Cryokinesis from James Walker, I will regrow a full head of hair out of sheer amazement (I am going bald, and no, I’m not that old)!

The Gauntlet has been thrown down, people! (Pls, SOMEBODY help me regain my follicles, winter is nearly upon us!!!)

Anonymous11806 September 8, 2008 at 9:15 pm

Hate to burst your bubble but Idon’t think Sylar has those two powers considering A. Sylar has always had some form of invisibility (maybe shadowwalking except in Lanslide when he vanishes from Audrey in broad daylight that would require really accurate shadowwalking although there was a large group of shadows…) and B. I don’t think he has Impenetrable Skin because SPOILER! Claire embeds a knife in his chest during the season 3 premier. So he might have invisibility but not the skin which seems unlikely

s.k.74 September 8, 2008 at 10:35 pm

W’sup Anonymous11806!

Umm… I don’t know if you were also replying to another comment elsewhere, but I was only talking about the one ability – Shadow Manipulation (or Shadowwalking, if you wanna call it that – sounds cooler, I must admit!)… I never said anything about impenetrable skin.

But it seems like I was wrong (again). After posting my comment, I browsed around, and read on another spoiler somewhere that Sylar has acquired the Camouflage ability from ‘Chameleon Girl’ which he uses when chasing Claire in the house. So, my bad. I guess we still won’t know what James Walker’s power was until they’re ready to reveal it to us (if ever).

However, I still stand by my reasoning behind why it couldn’t have been Cryokinesis. It makes no sense unless Sylar had a way to take the power first and use it on him before cutting his head open and reading his brain to see how the power worked, which is a massive contradiction.

So I still think our villain got his freezing power from someone else, and Walker’s ability is still a mystery for now.

So I guess the top of my head will be frozen too, come December lol (at least it will remain intact though)! (8-D

Anonymous11806 September 9, 2008 at 11:32 pm

Hi s.k.74 I wasn’t trying to put down your or anyone else’s views and you might be right about the whole invisibility thing but honestly like I said whats the point of Sylar invisibility when it seems like he already has something similar. And can you explain Shadow manipulation to me? It sounds like we’re talking about different things I think mine might be closer to shadow mimicry.

Tarot September 10, 2008 at 12:05 am

I’m hoping that season 3 will show us exactly what hiding power Sylar is using, and HAS been using since the first time we saw him on screen in season 1.

Anonymous11806 September 10, 2008 at 10:17 am

To s.k.74 You said you read a spoiler that Sylar uses invisibility. Can you give me the link? Because I’m curious whether you see him turn invisible or he just appears out of nowhere as usual. Most likely we’ll have to wait until the premier to get our real answer.

s.k.74 September 10, 2008 at 2:01 pm

W’sup Anonymous11806! Just to correct you, I didn’t say that Sylar uses invisibility, I thought he had the power of Shadow Manipulation (or Shadowwalking as you call it, same thing) which is ALMOST like a form of teleportaion (but not quite) using shadows: it allows the user to ‘melt’ into the shadows and therefore seemingly disappear and move quickly through the shadows.

However, I then read a spoiler somewhere which said that Sylar has taken the power of CAMOUFLAGE from a character that has been dubbed ‘Chameleon Girl’, and it said that he is seen using this power in the trailer when he is chasing Claire through the house. Because the house was in shadow at the time (Sylar blew up the lights, probably with Telekinesis) I naturally thought that he was Shadowwalking… but I guess that he figured the Camouflage ability would be more effective in darkness.

I will find out exactly where I saw this info and post it on this page later. Its just that I’ve been scanning back and forth on a lot of pages (as well as reading the Graphic Novels) so I don’t have the link to hand at the mo. But I promise I will let you know later. Stay tuned.

s.k.74 September 10, 2008 at 6:09 pm

@ Anonymous11806

FOUND IT!!! If you go to this link…

http://heroesspoilers-odi.blogspot.com/2008/09/behind-scenes-clip-of-sylar-gaining.html

… you will see footage of Sylar running into Robert Keeps (impenetrable skin power) and Chameleon Girl. I don’t know how official this footage is (i.e. if both scenes are relevant to Sylar’s backstory/ Season 3) but this is where I saw the info.

Also, depending on when these scenes were actually supposed to take place in the timeline, it may or may not explain how Sylar escaped from Matt and Audrey Hanson in Season 1 etc.

I still suspect that he has some kind of Shadowwalking ability – but then again, I do have a stubborn streak. It seems to be the best explanation for how he moved SO quickly to escape Matt & FBI, and also the scene in Homecoming when Peter tells Claire to run (on the steps) and suddenly Sylar was THERE next to him, in the blink of an eye…

…And correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t there a scene in Season 1 (when he was a prisoner of Primatech, after HRG’s buddy was doing tests on him and got killed) when Mr. Bennett looks into his cell… he sees WHAT LOOKS LIKE AN EMPTY ROOM with a covered corpse on the table in it… HRG uncovers the body thinking it is Sylar, but discovers that it is his friend that was running the tests… and then SYLAR APPEARS OUT OF THE SHADOWS???

Like I said, correct me if I’m wrong, but I always did wonder how he did that! Hmmm…

Tarot September 11, 2008 at 12:51 am

s.k.74, thanks for the tip.

POSSIBLE SPOILER!!!!!!!

That chameleon girl’s power looks an awful lot like Claude’s power…. if that video clip is the past, that explains a lot.
