THE HEROES ATTEMPT TO RESCUE THEMSELVES AND OTHERS WITHOUT THE USE OF THEIR POWERS
Matt (Greg Grunberg) goes to extreme measures to extinguish Sylar (Zachary Quinto), who continues to torment him. Elsewhere, HRG. (Jack Coleman) calls in a favor from Tracy (Ali Larter) to save a troubled young boy whose misfortunes resemble her own. While Claire (Hayden Panettiere) and Gretchen (guest star Madeline Zima) are being hazed by their new sorority sisters, they realize pledging might not be their biggest problem. Robert Knepper also stars. Lisa Lackey, Tessa Thompson and Rick Worthy guest stars.
SYLAR BEGINS HIS JOURNEY TO FIND HIS IDENTITY AND PETER COMES TO THE RESCUE OF ONE OF HIS OWN
- Under Samuel’s guidance, Sylar starts on a path to rediscover his true identity. Hiro helps Emma accept and understand the great possibilities that go along with having an ability.

The scenes tours take place on the site of the carnival. Sylar performs dirty work, moving debris with a wheelbarrow, when Edgar’s approach and taunts him to get him out of joint. Things escalate, and Edgar gave a demonstration of his powers of super speed and knife thrower. But, of course, Sylar is not an easy target, and he also gives a sample of his.
But how Sylar is in this situation? Here is what reveals Zachary Quinto:
In fact, it’s more showmen who find the opposite. He flees the police and came across this carnival. And they invite him to join. What seems to him a better option than going to prison.

He was called HRG before we learnt his name. I think those who call him it still are showing how long they have been fans (i.e. from the start). It’s affectionate.
Out of all three names we could call him, HRG is the shortest/ quickest one to type out…
(… yet somehow it’s the longest one to actually say out loud!)
kk gd points guys, HRG it is, H.R.G. even suits him as a name.
I miss the company. This new season was gunna be about it but yet claire was her dad to go ‘job hunting’. WHY!
this new company isnt guna come along any time soon with hrg chasing the carnival and nather or nyler trying reunite with his other half…
HRG’s company is about helping people. Notice how he helped Peter to help Hiro by helping the healer kid. He’s also helping Peter investigate the compass lead.
We’re also not done with the kid. In next episode HRG will ask Tracy to help him. I think HRG,s new vocation will be to help specials to control their abilities before they commit atrocities. He implied himself that the kid’s parents death could’ve been avoided if he didn’t just bag&tag him in the past.
But right now the “company” is nothing official. A semi-formal association with Tracy, with Angela in the background (who’s too worried about her beloved Nathan to be of any help)… I could see Peter join them eventually, and perhaps Hiro’s business could merge with them.
I’m not sure why they would air Charlie only for one episode. There’s no point in going back in time to save her if she will still refused to be saved. That would just be a waste of airing time.
@ f.d maybe theyr trying to bring back the old viewers with charlie? who knows? they r trying to link this season to the epic season 1 , hense the flashback opening at the beghinning of redemption…
i suppose the new company is slowly forming but i am still confused about kyote sands being shown tbis season, rememb? we were guna see the origional company?
We’ll probably start hearing about Coyote Sands when Mohinder makes an apparition. Remember he was investigating his father’s role in that mess and he’s supposed to come to Noah with something big; really dangerous information.
I only hope it’s not tied to Alice; I really didn’t like that fugly weather witch.
This will probably be much later in the season. Geez, they should make 2hours episodes, they have so much content to give us. Not only are there several compelling stories, but they take their time to develop and detail them instead of rushing everything like in vol 3.

So Samuel chases Hiro down there. And HRG doesn’t even seem to recognize Sylar even though he should already had camped his appartment with Elle at this point… therefore know who he is.
I wonder if we’ll find out HRG knew Sylar would kill Charlie and simply fed her to continue their experimentations on him. That would really piss Hiro off.

Well yeah thanks but I could still be way off.
Pics can only go so far in telling us what’s actually going on. Even video previews can be misleading (for example I don’t think anyone mentionned that Peter could’ve been shot by the healer boy. A couple of us theorized HRG could be shot, but not Peter)
But this episode looks much more promising than I thought. Hiro will meet Samuel there, who will likely encourage him to save Charlie.
About HRG, all we need to learn is whether HRG pretends like he doesn’t know Sylar (and why), or if writers are dumb enough to pull-off such a terrible plot hole. I got faith that it is the former.
It makes me realize that I don’t remember learning exactly at which point HRG went from studying Sylar to actually wanting to contain/kill him. I could be wrong but wasn’t HRG’s first encounter with Sylar at Primatech after Eden and the Haitian captured him? I’ve yet to remember if Noah huntring Sylar down was on Company assignation or personal vendetta to defend Claire.
f.d if ur right about hrg forgetting what sylar is im along with all of us GUNNA BE REALLY PISSED OFF! cuz that goes too far in the range of plot holes, the only justification is ‘hrg was haitened for some reason after his work with elle…p.s when elle and sylar came to his home n hrg blamed elle what what sylar was…he was just making it all up as he had been haitened…’
well we know how samuel gets there…the old guy…why doesnt he go too? is that not part of his power? cuz otherwise if he could freeze time too, hiro would have realised it by now…
i think the old timetraveler can only send others to different times and then pull them back…
i know i usually only post spoilers but i need to get a few things out of my head about the charlie eppy, see what you think:
*hmm i thought hrg/elle came before hrg/eden.
*i’m curious as to how no-one bumps into each other in the diner – hrg, sylar, hiro, ando, samuel – its a bit funny to me, if its a new scene then it’ll definatly change how they all met.
*if they save charlie, would they all meet up with peter for homecoming ?!?!
*whatever happens in this eppy, i have a feeling we’re going to nitpick at something that should in our view mess up the timeline but obv not in the directors. eg: charlie saved- would she still be captured for fugitives (well if she lived that long), would she go along for the missions like ando and maybe like (well who knows now) kimiko.
*oh the older waitress is in the series for…i think it was 3 more eps, yet nothing has been mentioned about charlie…
*oh i hope there not going to do an ending of charlie lives but hits her head or something and dies, therefore not changing anything.
*i dont even no where to start to try find my post that i did ages ago, about this ep set visit, i can remember though sylar tk-ing hiro up against a bus. gulp.
sigh, what’ve we got 2 weeks til this ep, i’m sooo sick of the constent change of ep no’s.

what i got:
- Samuel, the leader, uses people. He wants to enlarge his ‘family’ to have more minions.
- The carnival is a dangerous place, they serve samuel and are sometimes blackmailed (edgar) into his bidding.
so my question is this, is lydia dating edgar samuel or byler now?
the carnival seemed like a sancuary but why doesnt edgar or lydia leave if it is so dangerous? nowhere else to go?
- will we see lydia’s daughter again?

yeah i noticed too, at first i also thought tht sk74 had also gone but dude’s back in business!
…when the site temporarily shut down many people gave up trying to enter it…a few days later some like me, tried again and we all got in.
However maybe karin simply didnt think the site worked any more…or perhaps she didnt like the premier of redemption and stopped watching…without a goodbye to us

@alexx If Mohinder’s comeback is tied to Coyote Sands like I think, perhaps he will ask Hiro to go back in time to fix something. Or maybe even just to fetch vital information that got lost over the years.

And according to Wendilynn, Masi has been filming this week so he doesn’t appear to have been killed off (initially I was worried and thought maybe Hiro had died and JKL was coming back to film his funeral).
I’m edging closer and closer to the Haitian. Can’t think who else was in season 1 and well loved and who hasn’t been mentioned as being in the chair other than Matt (and I’m not convinced they’d kill him off, even though GG hasn’t mentioned filming lately and as usual sounds way too perky to have been fired without being informed about it). I’m so relieved it doesn’t appear to be Hiro though
hmm my moneys on matt, i wasnt sure at first what with that video he twitted where he’s being wheeled through a hospital looking through a mask – that was just to in your face- but then again it was posted a day before nbc confirmed a season 1 male lead charcter was being killed off, now tho . . . well like you said he hasnt posted anything about heroes for a while, also wendi’s comment about grunny “visiting”.

Well they did say “shock”. Not “mass viewers exodus”.
They used this expression for the Vol4 finale too.
oh right…well i suppose that nathan was a main character and all but i did kinda see him being killed at the end of the season from the very 1st ep….i thought at 1st it would be danko but sylar also fits the job, i doubt they would kill off hiro, peter or sylar….matt vs sylar could easily result in matts demise though.
