New Volume 3 Villain Revealed
Finally something interesting to write about. According to myself - Jamie Hector is new villain which will be introduced in Volume 3. He confirmed ( LA List and NY Mag) that he will be playing a character named Benjamin Knox Washington and that he has filmed a couple episodes already.
If you remember these spoilers…
A new villain named Knox ( frightening and intense, with the eyes of a predator ) returns to his native city of New Orleans -the criminal territory he used to run before he was sent to prison. This puts him directly in the path of Micah, his great-aunt Uhura and Monica Daniels.
I believe we have a new villain….
Also, here’s something interesting. Couple weeks ago I have mentioned that many Heroes have names from Bible like Adam, Peter, Noah….
Well, here’s how Benjamin is described in the Bible, maybe a clue to his power?
“Benjamin is a ravenous wolf. In the morning he devours the prey, And in the evening he divides the spoil.”
Also if you watch the latest sneak peek for Volume 3 it looks like he may have some liquefy ability - liquid man? I heard he was mentioned in comics, can anyone confirm?
Edit:: It seems that his ability is preternatural speed rather than liquefy ability.
What have you say about about Benjamin Knox? Is he a villain working for The Company or against the same?

Liquid man was confirmed to have been killed at some train place in the comics by Noah (i think) but I can’t confirm yet if his name was benjamin. I didn’t notice that about the names from the bible but you forgot gabriel (sylar).
Sorry i mean liquid man was captured by noah and the company in the comics.
His powers were self liquification. he can turn himself into water at will.

What power is that? looks strange.
I’ve heard that knox is going to have super speed?!? I don’t know what the metal hand is all about but i can’t wait till its back to find out
Well one possibilitiy migh be that he can change his skin into a metalic shield like colossus (almo one of the most common fan theorioes).
With this image that I’ve just seen, I think that Knox has the ability to turn parts of his body or possibly his entire body into a liquid metal, and can create weapons out of this , like the guy from terminator 2 the x1000.
Or who knows, he might even have both of them, that would be interesting.

i watched the clips several times over and i really doubt that the knox character’s power is like liquid man.
it really looks like his fist and arm are covered in blood. ad straight after that shot there are to dead policemen covered in blood

I think the Knox character is not the one with the liquid ability…
besides, the one in 9th wonders where Noah is capturing this liquid man…
that man is white, and this guy is black…
the power of collosus-like would be interesting…
especially when this Knox is somewhat related to Micah… Monica… and Uhura(?) Does this Uhura have a special ability…

Knox is not liquid man. I think he has animal mimicry (don’t know what that is…look it up), becuase they mention things like “ravenous wolf” and “eyes of a predator” and he has superspeed (or cheetah speed). They also say “prey.”
that villian sucks, well maybe not depending how he is gonna be. I think that Sylar would take revenge of all Heroes including peter, HirO, ETC.
It better that Sylar die or be a good guy because when i see his eyes I see that kill people make him happy, well I dont now wath gonna happen but where ever is make it cool!!!
i think all these vilians will unite against the company whose imprisoned them. ( it mentions that Knox was imprisoned), so obviously these 12 sylar- level viliians are freed somehow, i’m thinking Sylar hits up the New York company headquarters and frees his fellow evoled humans, or they get lose while he’s attacking the place. But if i was Sylar, i’d start stealing some of those prisoners abilities, it’s perfect, their doped up on “Haitian Pills” and pretty much defenseless. can we say buffet?

Don’t worry, comics are optional. In comics you can learn more about characters like Haitian, Kensei and others but you won’t miss anything of major importance.
I think that Knox has that super speed thing and he used it to pull out the cop’s heart. If you look closely, you can see something in his hand.
you know what would be interesting is a villain with peter’s powers… i dunno it would give way for a great storyline or possibly the death of syler. Just my opinion though.
Sylar is the flip side of Peter, so he is the villian who has the same power as Peter, just not as easily obtained.
I think that knox does have super-speed, and that his fist and forearm were covered in blood because he used his speed to pummel (or possibly rip out) the cop’s heart. If his arm was moving fast enough it could potentially pass through someone’s body.
i hope this villain is cool and adding a power like animal mimicry would make it a little interesting to the show. Didn’t Jamie Hector play a bad guy in the wire? (so i was told).
I think the powers of the characters in Heroes should be kept as abilities . They should keep their human forms and not turn into metallic or liquid men. Because this might just turn into another X-men series and lose its charm to the audience who are real people looking for real human heroes to look up to. It is alright to have all these supernatural powers but they should never change the way they look. This is the one thing that makes Heroes lovable. More closer to our hearts.

I agree it should be super speed and am i the only 1 that thinks Angela is the leader of the villians seeking revenge on who ever killed Nathan (i think the Company)

Knox is apparently the leader of the gang that kidnapped monica
and will track down monica and micah to tie up loose ends
which will probably be how micah’s storyline is “ended”
and prompt monica to become st joan

Adding to the bible names thing, the 3rd ep in season 3 is called The Year Of Our Lord.

I find that there is just a cycle of heroes and villians but there is always a predictable end. This would have been better if Sylar was dead and another more unique villian took his place as the ultimate villian types are interesting to fight against. Sylar for me is getting kinda boring…..he seems to keep cutting off heads and then what? Angela’s terrible abilities to make everyone’s eyes bleed black is very creepy but she seems to be the good person with a bad power. I think there should be a clarification about the child…its getting boring to see everyone try to get her and then she keeps crying cuz of her situation.
Truly for someone who has live for almost 400 years, even I would believe that I am the god of all those living around me. Well Peter could think himself as god since he’s as powerful as god, no one can stop him etc…
Well as for the Knox guy, here’s some ideas from me.
A good guess from me would be he’s a villian( duh..), escaped from the Cells of the Company’s facility, plans of revenging the 12 that locks him up( or maybe less I don’t know). Well maybe that’ the reason why Angela claims that he’s like “12 Sylars running around..”
If Tim wanna link this sidetrack to Adam’s idealogy, maybe he could throw in ideas about him being the agressors for Adam’s ideal ( we know Linderman, Matt’s dad, plus some other…)
Well I know Monica’s sidetrack suks, but if they wanna pull her back to this Season, maybe Micah and Monica will track to her kidnappers and finally Knox is the head or something…
His powers? Hmm….my guess would be “Morphing ability” meaning he will be able to morph into any appearence or object. If he wans, he can morph his hands into sharp objects and kill ppl. Who knows…

ok Angela said in section 5 of the company the most dangeous and mad killers were locked up and section 5 got breached so Knox must be one of them and his powers are superspeed and super strength. If section 5 did get breached is that were adam and peter were beacuse they were dangerous and could it be them or breached it? were people say he can turn iunto liquid or metal thats blood and if you look closely you can see a heart in his hand and a hole in the coppers chest
season 3 should be good hope this clears up the Knox bussness
It could be superspeed but pulling out someones heart is kind of close to D.Ls powers of phasing through anything.Besides is spoilers are true about another villain who was playing around with hiro and had the power of superspeed.So thats why i doubt his power is superspeed.At first it looked like a metallic arm i dont know.

knox power is not to turn into metal or liquify or what ever, It is Prenaturnal speed. just like flash in dc he can vibrate at super speeds and can go through objects , he then can stop vibrating and his hand is inside the persons body, and he can rip it out from the inside. I dont think that any superhero will have more than one power.
Peter and sylar dont have more than one power , they have copy like abilities like rouge.
Also the power to turn into water at anytime isnt all that great unless its involuntary otherwise if he was ambushed or sniped he wouldnt be able to liquify because he has to think about it.
hey i was just wondering what episode it is where they reveal the new hero/villian ripping out the cops heart out. If someone could tell me, it would be much appreciated.
