Here’s another Comic Book Resources’ exclusive weekly question-and-answer session with series producers/writers Aron Coliete and Joe Pokaski. Below are some spoilers we thought are worth of mentioning, to read the whole interview visit CBR.
- We haven’t seen the last of Luke in the “Heroes” Universe.
- There’s more to be learned about the Sylar’s father but not in this volume. There’s a lot of Sylar left to be explored, especially in “I am Sylar” episode.
- We will see more of Doyle also.
- There will be bisexual / gay or lesbian character on the show.
- More on Claire and Nathan (their relationship ) in the amazing episode “Into Asylum.”

The end of the season is as supercharged as Ando! Jack Coleman tells us, “The last five episodes are really leading up to a shocking finale. Gay looks like there falling for the threats already figures haha lol. Stupid Gay comunity you see many staff members or sponsors of shows are Gay and like to threaten thell stop suporting the show or a company that sponsors the show has it’s employes go on strike till they get what they want and have Gay stuff involved in what they suport then they give into the threats and put it there and we all die a little inside. I think I will puke once I see the Gay stuff on Heroes or the real ratings shall drop not the imaginary ones that it runs off of. But still could they please bring all the kids of the series back? Plus it would be cool if Luke and Micah and Molly all work together in the future.
Excellent news that we’ll see more of Samson in the future. Doyle is also getting more likeable since being on the run. The idea of a gay/bisexual character in Heroes is not, in itself, a bad thing. It all depends on how its pulled off. Don’t be a doomsayer and put the idea down at birth.
The information about Doyle above is inaccurate. If you read the whole Behind the Eclipse they say he will be seen again in the webisodes and graphic novel, not on the show itself.
Wendi, the make up artist showed a picture of Zach shooting a scene in a hotel….so?
Hopefully they wont try to force this gay character down our throat.
All I care is that she or he have a cool ability and doesn’t become complainig and weak.
Some of u are sying that if they put a gay/ lasban or bi character on the showe the rateings may go down. I think the rateings would go up if they had a hot lesban chick on the showe with a sick power trying to get Claire, now tell me that wouldn’t be fucking hot!?!
anyone who actually knows their stuff about the heroes universe knows that claire’s best friend in the first season was gay, and the writers had every intention of initially making that known. They simply didn’t have time to fit it into the volume before she left him. So, there’s already been a gay character, and the world didn’t end. Get over yourselves. Gays are people too, they will eventually have rights just like you, and they most certainly can have characters that share their sexual orientation on a local television show.
I’m guessing that the gay/bi-sexual character will be the new female villian being introduced in the finale. She’s being touted as having a ‘muddy’ ability. Hmmmmmmm, I wonder…

Crikey. I knew the Heroes demographic included a lot of arrested twats so I dont know why I’m surprised by some of the posts on here.
News for the retards: a Hell of a lot of gay people watch this bloody show. It stands to reason that at SOME point a character should reflect this.
My hope is they treat him/her as they would the (presumed) heterosex characters: i.e. give him/her some kind of romantic interest. A fuck off super power would also be a plus.
I’m not holding my breath though.

ok so besides all the talk about the gay character, more importantly how do people this this volume will end i mean with only 4 or 5 episodes left its already looking to be more epic than anything we have yet to see on Heroes
The volume will definitley end with a Sylar vs Peter show down. Some how Peter will get his abilities back,but how? Baby Matt or Ando? It’s hard to say. And if does get his original ablity back, will he get all of his old powers back to like DL’s phasing, Isaac’s painting, Ted’s nuclear power, Claudes invisiblity etc…. I think the last episode we will see Claude again since the title is “Invisible Thread”. That would make sense and it would be VERY cool to see him again!!! And it was great having Micah back too!
i noticed Sendhil Ramamurthy has at least 2 films coming up . i would guess mohinder is going to be worm food?
Neil, I’d say Ando. If Baby Matt restores EM, it should only work for the basic ability (much like Hiro only recieving the “stop time” part of his power back), and not his fifteen abilites that were absorbed before they were losy. If Ando supercharges Peter (which is possible as Peter can now choose whether or not to take an ability, it’s not automatic like Tracy), my guess is he can replicate the abilities of everyone in the vicinity. That’s at least TK from Sylar (as he’s not been shown to get any of his other powers), plus everyone around him, which at the very least is Ando’s red lightning and whatever ability he had before being supercharged. Though, if Baby Matt makes him “go” then that will happen anyway…Ando just seems to fit more correctly for me. Plus I’d like to see Hiro and Peter fight together again.
I hope they make a superpowered character and that their power is to turn people gay, that would super cool.

I believe that 1 of three things will occur!
1. Hiro and Ando bump into Peter and He tells the Japanese couple that he doesnt have his same powers anymore. So, Hiro, the genius that he is, gets the baby to touch peter and some of his powers come back.
2. The same as above minus the baby touching peter part. Peter informs them that his power is back but not to its full potential. Then Ando tells Hiro that the baby wont work and that if he supercharges Peter things will go back to normal. he does just that and peter goes on an ass-kicking spree!
3. Neither of the above two occurs. Peter tries to defend his mom as Danko tries to kill her and Sylar steps in becuz thats Danko’s new partner. Peter tries to fight him and begins to lose until he finally touches Sylar and get his power to take people’s power. Then he forces Sylar to sit in that white chair and he cuts his head open and feeds. Sylar finally dies and Peter becomes cool again.
(in the future, Peter controlls the hunger and doesnt take anymore powers.!)
also, what ever happened to that scene in the future with Ando and Hiro when that explosion happened in the background when they were fighting…hmmmmmmm…
i hope they bring back zach, too bad that TSCC will be gone it was a good show. spoilers are interesting…. i wish that Elle was on the show again, i have her on my blog. villainsview.blogspot.com
wouldn’t it be funny if Matt Parkman Jr. had the power to turn on and OFF the abilites of others…and then Peter comes into play and absorbs the babies ability and uses it on Sylar XDXD….I know kinda dumb but if peter doesn’t get his original power by the last episode this would make one of the plausible decisions to use on the all time favorite Psycho-killer… HEROES FTW.
God some of you are immature with the whole gay thing. Why would a gay character be “weak” and “complaining”? Do you even know any gay people? And then there is the whole 13 year old boy contingent hoping for a “hot” lesbian…

As for Peter getting his powers back, maybe baby Matt Parkman could do it, but that might be too obvious. If Peter uses his current ability to steal Syler’s powers, would Peter get all of Syler’s powers, including the telekinesis, healing, ect? Or would he only get the ability to gain others abilities? Remember Syler had the ability to gain powers without killing people too.
Perhaps the gay/bisexual character is the shapeshifter? Perhaps they have the ability to shift from male to female at will?
I find it more likely Peter would only take intiutive aptitude from Sylar. I don’t see the writers empowering Peter so rapidly, so suddenly, after Volume 4 having him depowered. That would also actually be a good plotline, as, as we saw in the early part of Volume 3, acessing that power makes Peter go insane. It also satisfys the seemingly endless horde of people who want to see Peter get his original power back (myself excluded), as, while it’s not the same, it’s a way for him to get multiple powers again. Especially if he becomes a villian…
My idea is that if the baby and Ando thing doesn’t happen, Hiro will take Peter back in time to stop him having his powers taken, then they’ll make sure that everything else happened as before.
They then go forward, and Robert’s your mother’s brother.

Uh, yeah… one MAJOR problem with that – Hiro can’t teleport/ travel thru time any more (at least for now, possibly permanently).
On top of that, even if Hiro COULD take Peter back in time to stop his powers getting robbed, it would cause a BUTTERFLY EFFECT, so “making sure everything else happened as before” wouldn’t be a possibility any more. Did you not see the beginning of Villains? Future Peter shooting Nathan, etc etc etc?
I hate to disappoint all of you, but…The character who dies in the finale is Peter. Tim Kring has already said this, according to Milo Ventimiglia. With all of his acting, producing, photography, etc. projects, it’s no surprise he is leaving the show. They said it was a big character, and they weren’t kidding!

Either Peter or Claire has to leave because of their failed romance. Hayden is refusing to do scenes with Milo and even refuses to be at the set at the same time. Therefore, it makes sense that Peter will be killed off.
It won’t be Peter killed off and they have a scene with him after the battle….Kring would never release that info so whoever reported it didn’t get it from a credible source…I can definitely tell you handsdown, if he goes, then I will contribute to the other 7 million viewers that stopped watching and they can end like Soprano’s with a “black screen” or go out terribly like the last season of OZ on HBO…Nathan I believe will be the character and if Hayden did cause that, she would be hurting her own career as these types of relationships are common in Hollywood and if she tends to take this personal, she would mess up other future flicks down the line…Also, they’ve already shot more scenes together since which they’re shown together in one of the next episodes….

i think it wont be peter because he is too important to the show he is a bigger star on the show than nathan and clair in all honesty right the show is already losing viewers already so they wont screw it up more they are trying to get more viewers not lose them. so in the end i honestly think it will be noah or danko because even nathan is pretty important plus i dont think the futures we saw before will play out now because the future is always changing.
i will also be one one of the 7 million who stop watching the show if peter gets killed off also he is my favorate character on the show

i dont believe that they will kill off peter…dats just television suicide!! they might make sumthin bad happen to him and or nathan while protecting their mother!
random thought: remember when Angela Petrelli adressed Danko in the restaurant! she said something about him bein the only survivor of some accident. wat if he’s been hiding his powers because he’s affraid of it. He hates his own kind. then in the final episode he gets in real serious danger and and he his power is revealed. then after attacking Nathan and Peter, Sylar, the backstabbing villain that he is, turns on danko and takes his power, the cut your head open way lol… he dies along with say Nathan!
