Heroes Spoilers: Brigdet Bailey, Killed by Sylar!
In the premiere countdown part, episode 0 (3.00) Brigdet Bailey was finally introduced in the series, but for not for long -> she gets killed off almost instantaneously!
Here’s what happened
Angela introduced Bridget to Sylar, she walks into the room. Angela mentions she has the ability of precognition, and then says something under her breath about Sylar needing to feed, and then Angela leaves the room…. you can hear Bridget screaming a death-scream. They don’t show Sylar de-skulling her though.
What’s Bridget ability
Any object she touches she can see it’s history. Everywhere it’s been. Everyone whose ever touched it.
Piece of jewelry would work perfect.
Why’s that important
First of all, Angela was actually “feeding” her to him. Geeeez!
Angela needs Sylar to believe her, so she gives Bridgette to Sylar, who kills her! Killing Bridget would save the world only because Sylar needed to be convinced that Angela is his mommy? Definately not!
Is Angela “evil”?
There were already some spoilers, indications which could give us a clue that Angela may not be what we see at the moment. For example these spoilers:
There will be a lot of the Petrelli dynamic in season three especially egards to Nathan and Peter and Angela - trying to bring her back from evil! I think Adrian said she was the “Queen-Bee of the Darkside” or something.
and this one
Angela Petrelli Has to be Evil. When asked if Angela’s good or bad, Cristine offers this glimpse of what’s ahead: “As of this volume, none of that applies. It’s all up in the air. Nothing is as it seems. You will totally surprised by everything, on every level. It’s all about good and evil and all of us walking that strange line between good and evil and who is going to going to fall into the good category?and who is going to fall into the bad, and really stay there. It’s a balancing act through the entire Volume, and it’s so good.”
What do you think? Firstly, when I saw the episode I never believed that Sylar is actually her son, but now…

This is crazy, i hate Sylar!
That was Bridget screaming? Sounded more like Sylar to me… I figured she was there to feed Sylar knowledge she’d gathered.
this is awesome, i love sylar!
poor Bridget
Heh, lol. When I first saw that bit I was laughing hysterically, and my mother, who doesn’t watch Heroes was sitting next to me and she was like “I don’t get it”, and then I explained it to her, and she was like 0_o Ew.
We’ve lost both evsdropr and Hana, and now it looks like the UK is losing Bridget.
interesting about sylar being a son…although when i first watched i thought when she spilled the beans about her being her son, she meant treating sylar “LIKE” a son and that he needed to be fed…
to bad for bridgette…sigh..i wonder if she was like ummmmm wats going on? and omg why are you slicing my head…
Damnit. They keep killing off all my fanfic characters. First Donna, then Bridget…Argh! I wonder who’s next?
okay, what is Angela starting now? She’s too manipulative. I mean, it’s like she’s got one of the most powerful personalities i’ve seen so far.
Sylar as a son?! How’s that? I wonder what she’s upto…

Sylar is getting more and more and more and more and more and more abilities and I am getting more and more and more and more and more sick and tired of it!!!
(Love the new background!)
Actually i think its sylar that is screamming… cause i doesnt sound like a girl screaming
and i think angela exact words when he asked what “She” bridget is going to do she said she is going to feed you….
i doubt that she would send that girl in there to die
Thanks for the link Matej. I have to agree and say that she is dead. Sylar needs to believe that Angela is his mother. The only way for him to do that is to know her history. To do that, he needs Bridgets power. So.. Bridget is dead. Too bad.
The discussion should be is, what the hell is wrong with Angela Petrelli!? Does she have no soul?
I think it’s cool that they found a way to incorporate a heroes evolution character into the main storyline.
Peter and Sylar as brothers? Makes sense, since their abilities are similar in many respects and they have similar physical traits. In a sneak peek at episode 2 for this season, there’s a scene in which Sylar mentions that peter has “Hunger”, which i assume refers to his desire to acquire more power and ultimatey become “special”, even among evolved humans.
Sylar’s ability must allow him to affect/alter his own physiology, since it’s become apparent that is analyzing the brains of his victims and determining exactly how each brain is configured in such a way as to give that individual his/her ability (See his encounter with claire) and is able to somehow alter the pathways/configuration of his own brain to match that new configuration and in effect, the abilities of the user. He has to see exactly how the brain is configured to mimic the ability, otherwise he could just do it himself without all the lobotamy stuff. He could literally just sit there and play around with the configuration of his on brain and develop abilities.
If you take into consideration the theory that each individuals abilities is determined to an extent by his/her/ unique personality profile, then you can clearly see why Sylar is a “”$£”$% nut…:) They allude to that in season one where HRG and a research scientist are hacing a conversation, something along the lines of Sylar’s current state being a result of too many “alterations” to his DNA.
This show is SICK. I LOVE IT:)

I thought she was going to use her power on Sylar (ex. find out how many powers he has absorbed, find out where he has been) But, Angela feeding him, gawk. That is just to creepy. I personally do not like the whole Angela-Sylar, mother-son thing. I don’t think the general audience does either I totally think that they are going to pull a J.R. Ewing. Just my opinion, because this season is way to out there, for those of you who like it better. Go for it, your strong I just can’t stand to see my Heroes Universe collapse into something that doesn’t make sense. For an ending i think i know what is going to happen. Peter is going to realize that he did the wrong thing by going back in the past and he messed all these things up. He realizes, goes to the future (would have been future) and lets claire shoot him.
Also, i don’t understand, that if the abilities are truly in the bloodstream and not the brain, how does Sylar continue getting them from the brain?
Maybe because the blood carrying oxygen to the brain makes the powers? Or, maybe there are two different kinds of powers. ie; ones that are, like, inherited or came about as an evolution of the species or just random mutations?
I hate sylar! I hope they would be able to find a way to destroy him soon!
well i think, most powers are inherited (if there really is), like what we can observe in heroes. Claire’s parents Nathan and Meredith who also have their own powers as well as their parents. But it can also be through mutation. Is there really a person with supernatural powers?
In this episode, could it really be true that Angela is Sylar’s mother?
i love this show!
I found this scene to be just disturbing as hell, my stomach churned, churned, and I felt moderately nauseated by it. It reminded me of the scene in Jurassic Park when the cow was lowered into the velociraptor pit. That was disturbing when I saw that over 10 years ago, which is when I last saw it, and it still remains disturbing, this painted Sylar to be exactly what he is, a dangerous vicious animal. Domesticate him all you want, you can take the animal out of the wild, but you can never, never take the wild out of the animal.
to those who think Bridget is alive somehow. well youre wrong since you see her body under a white sheet with a bloody coming from the head when you see HRG walk in to talk to Angela
