Little update on Heroes universe from The ODI and his interview with Tim Kring:
At this point I think the only realistic chance for a Heroes wrap up will depend on how well/bad the NBC Fall lineup performs and Kring pretty much confirms that. At the same time he said they are doing whatever they can to try and keep the Heroes Universe alive.

Well Heroes, Tim Kring, and every single person that even tried to help this show: so long and thanks for all the fish. By fish I mean awesomeness of course.
Maybe if someone else runs the show, writes for the show, heads up some new stuff, but I wouldn’t trust Kring to do it right.
It is just hard to believe that they won´t even finish the 5 years project. I mean they had the best project ever to make a great show and they went down hill badly. i hate to know that i wont leave work early on mondays to watch heroes. wtf?
did anyone hear any humors about the show?
Not too sure where I heard it but saw somewhere that there was talk of a movie to finish it off properly…. could just be rubbish thou, but it was on one of the American TV entertainment websites…. Anyway I think if it is true then they should at least have someone else calling the shots, Kring had his chances and just got worse and worse, the potential for the show was humongous and nearly nothing came of it…. Shame really….pj
I really wish we could get a miniseries with proper closure or at least have the online graphic novels continue.
Well, it is all clear now. Just look at the front cover. They tried to make a Sylar/Claire relationship and personally I feel that is one reason why the series failed and was cancelled. They demoted the main character, peter and made the plot device the main character. I always liked sylar but look at the front cover. It portrays the villain as the main character. They may as well make a spin off show called villains about sylar and claire.
i really hope that the people at NBC take at least a casual glance at these comments. every single person who has commented, well at least 20 or so (i stopped reading because the message was clear), wants NBC to air the epic, last, hell, even epochal season 5 of HEROES!!!!! i have watched quite a few shows, and i must say that none of them even compare with HEROES! it is an amazing accomplishment. it is an amazing concept. killer cast and an even better crew behind the cameras and off of the set! i mean it!
i am not going to say to NBC, “hey! screw u! if u don’t continue the show and air season 5 I’m gonna boycott u!” not my style. but i will say this. you have assembled a group of fans who love this show. fans who would love nothing more than to see one last season. even now, more people are gaining the same sentiments. more people are holding their breathe in anticipation.
I believe that NBC should ask themselves one question, as pertaining to whether or not they should air a season 5 of HEROES. “IS THE JUICE WORTH THE SQUEEZE?” i think that u will find that it, in fact, is.

Nbc pull your heads out of your butts and look around. This is Firefly all over again. How can you leave Heroes hanging like you have. At least finish the story, blow the world up or something, don’t just cancel he show where it is at. Heroes actually got alot of people who were tired of your crappy lines to come back to watching Nbc and this is how you repay them. Yes I know this is not Nbc’s website but hey maybe big brother is watching at will relay the message. Nbc please give Heroes the proper send off it deserves!!!!!
I liked it – the diversity of abilities, the twists & turns of fate, the possibilities to change things w/ time travel & precognition. I didn’t understand why Peter tried to extend/ reinforce the Sylar/Nathan construct & i wasn’t proud of him for lying by omission to Claire about it. I was worried for him because he is obsessing on saving ppl like batman at the expense of his own health. I was so happy that Hiro got to become Takezo Kensei, sad he had to abandon that princess, not to mention having to abandon Charlie in the past. I wish i could make more sense of how Hiro’s deceased mother was able to heal him, but hey, any excuse to see Tamlin Tomita. I was happy Ando got powers. I was sad that Dr. Suresh lost his mind while he was mutating & that tragedy turned Angela into a monster. Speaking of Angela, i was almost dissapointed that Sylar didn’t kill her after he got his mind back, seeing as how he vowed revenge. Speaking of dissapointments, i expected Hiro to meet a dinosaur in the past instead of a museum. I was pixxed that Peter lost his powers to his father, but at least he can’t go nuclear anymore. I wondered what gave future Peter that scar when he had Claire’s ability & why Sylar never used the melting any object power & what happened to the guy he met who could destroy/ crumble objects. I found it almost amusing that Matt was going to 12 step meetings & while every one else is there for drugs or alcohol, he was there about his powers, kinda similar to how i interpret a big part of this show to be about racism just like the X-Men. If only we could get over our differences with only 12 steps! Even though the ending was terrible, we knew what was comming next – a short while later ppl w/ abilities will be hunted regardless of their threat level causing countless innocent lives because of what Claire did – so the answer would have to come from Hiro or the Hatian – or else nightmare city.
OK i almost had it – future peter must have lost Claire’s ability somehow or else he wouldn’t have died. But that doesn’t explain how he had more than one ability – Hiro, Issac, Claude to mention a few…
I’m italian and I’m very angry!!! How can a show like Heroes doesn’t have an end??
I mean a lot of people follow the show, BUY DVD and bluray of Heroes and NBC doesn’t finish the show????

What! No fifth season! It is an awesome tv series that has a cult following. The show is all that anybody that I know talks about. The fourth season ended with such a wide open ending of ‘What is going to happen now?” Are they going to be mobbed by angry normals? Is she going to be put in a science lab? Will the future of the second season come true? And will Sylar really be a good guy, I don’t think so on that one. But, seriously, you cannot leave this cliffhanger off like this on such a suspenseful show! It’s inhumane. It’s like giving a toddler a cookie, letting him take a bite and then snatching it back!

The end of season four leaves much to be desired as far as answers to questions. For example how will the Heroes adapt to a “Brave new world”?, or where Hiro took the specials when he teleported. On top of all of that i have to say i miss the Company. I’d like to see if a new one is ever created. That and i want to see more of the new Sylar, i liked his style when he lit up Doyle like a christmas tree.
What of season 5 and why peter loose all his ability. Is niki going to be like syler in season 5.
They should do what they did with the series “FireFly”… Just finish it off with a Movie, like “Serenity” Same cast! everything… I hope they do that i really like this show =)
The creators should get rid of dumb ass nbc and move on to another company, i can almost bet another company would make it and we would have heroes BACK!!
HEROES needs to come back! its just not right or professional for them to end it like this and leave all of these fans hanging.. I would also like if Peter Petrelli could absorb many different powers again and be a total badass instead of only absorbing one at a time.. Anyways there just needs to be 5th season, You guys already gave us the title of “Brave new world” and had our hopes up for a new season and now you just shattered them and act like heroes never existed, thats just messed up…
What ? No Heroes season 5 ? I just fall from my chair ! I didn’t tried to search for the trailer because i wanted to keep the fulll surprise ! I can’t beleive it ! When my friend told me that, i thought it was a joke ! I have no words to express how i feel right now ! Why do NBC is doing that ? It’s a sucessfull TV Series i’ve loved the caracters good or bad ! WTF? Finish season 5..
I have to agree with everyone here… My wife and I just finished watching season 4 on Netflix and very disappointed… IN THE FACT THAT NBC JUST DROPPED IT LIKE A BAD HABIT!!! I mean come on it was a phenomenal show… and needs to either be picked up by another company or made into movies. In my opinion the best route for the show would be on another network. There is so much potential for this show and many more seasons. This is a show that could see a run like the Simpson. A SciFi Soap per say. I want to know what happened to all the specials, and I like the new Sylar, he is crisp and it was nice to see him join the good guys, his potential is so much more as a good guy… and there can always be more bad guys created… hell Sylar could acquire a new ability that splits his bad side and good side and leaves you with 2 Sylars one good and one bad… and then to put a twist on it every time evil Sylar gains an ability so does the good Sylar…. but I am no writer, and thats probably a crappy plot idea but hey… the show has limitless potential.

Seriously NBC… I am saying that if this is how they are going be and not finish the show then I have no use for NBC.
The writers of this show seemed to think that they could save it by pushing a liberal homosexual agenda. I watched all four seasons back to back on DVD and was sickened by the homo agenda. I wouldn’t have purchased any of the DVDs if I knew what direction the writers would take the cheerleader.
Heroes was the best show EVER. I still have hope that another company will pick it up or they will at least make a movie of it! … But really, Sylar needs to be bad again XD
Idea…boycott that worthless network…stop watching any of their programming…blow up their email and phones with angry complaints…blow up their network buildings…then harass syfy to pick up the series and threaten them with the same treatment if they refuse….not saying its a great idea ….just an option.

Hi to all of you big “H” fans. like u i am very very disappointed with this network for letting such a good and unique series go into limbo. I t has so much potential . The question is, have the creators reached their potential and do not know where to take it from here???? Come on guys !!! Wake up and do what u do best or is this all that u have??? I just watched the whole series from start to finish on Netflix, and i can’t believe that the corporate execs at NBC would leave their loyal fans on a cliff hanging. I’m so disappointed…this is the very reason I don’t like to watch network tv! Every time I get hooked on a show and anticipate the next season its cancelled. Flashforward(abc), Persons Unknown, Journeyman to name a few of my favs that were axed mid story. I’m really hating the peacock at this point and don’t see myself ever watching another series on that network for fear of being let down yet again.
