Good News And The Possible Bad News About Season 3
It looks like the show is going to start filming a lot earlier than it usually does.
Shows usually start filming in July/August but according to James Kyson Lee (Ando) the show will start filming in June ( maybe in May - read the comments). He also says that NBC is going to do another big push again, right after the Olympics, and we’ll premiere season three in September.
That’s the good news. Now the bad ones.
Ausiello is reporting that Kristen Bell isn’t signed for season 3 yet. He does believe that she will eventually be signed though, because fans like her so much.

Question: I have a Heroes question: Are they going back to work on new episodes in the spring, even if they will not air until the fall? Is that how NBC is able to order more than 22 for next season? — Pat
Ausiello: Nothing gets by you, Pat. Yes, Heroes is tentatively slated to start production on Season 3 on May 1 — more than two months ahead of schedule. As a result, the show could have as many as 10-13 episodes already in the can by the time it returns in September.
Question: I’m so sad to hear that Heroes isn’t returning until the fall. Do you have any idea what we can expect for next season? — Holly
Ausiello: Let’s just say that over the next few months the show’s casting offices will be filled with actors who are very good at being very bad.
About Kristen Bell. I really hope they bring her back but I would like to see her character grow.. Or at least shake it up a bit… In my opinion she did not contribute much to the show although people liked her, so did I. What do you think?

I really hoped kristen comes back. she’s what I really liked about season 2. Bring back Elle!
I would like to see her back even though i don’t think she serves a purpose on the show but she kinda growing on me now just like the rest of new characters except one which is Maya.
Season 2 is going to finish soon on TV . I hope season 3 comes out sooner. Otherwise I’ll blow up!

I think Maya’s character is interesting enough. Her power is so black , unusual and awesome, there could be a lot of situations that could arise from its proper use/misuse. My problem is that the actress playing Maya is not credible or pretty enough, (my apologies to the actress). She doesn’t even look like her brother, who unfortunately is killed very early in the episode by Shylar. Probably what Maya needs is another ability to protect herself from Shylar now that her brother is dead, so her role can contribute more possitively to the series. It is titled Heroes afterall.
Talking to David Anders at Eclipse (www.massiveevents.co.uk/eclipse) at the weekend, he said that filming for season 3 is in May, not June.

Cool - I think that Showmasters/Massiveevents will be releasing a DVD of the talks at the event in a week or two, and I am fairly sure Cristine (Angela) also mentioned May for filming in one of the talks, though I more vividly remember David telling it to me in one of our one on one chats! So when the dvd comes out, probably in the massiveevents.co.uk/eclipse online store, it can be verified there.
I want to see Claude return. Granted I love his voice, his presence, but I want to SEE him.
Maya is a GOOD character. she’s interesting and there are a lot of possibilities there.
Yes Sahira, there are - but whole brother&sister story in season 2 went wrong and to long in my opinion.
i only started to get interested in their storyline after sylar found them.
Elle was really the only great thing about season 2. I mean the whole season picked up with the last few episodes. But Elle was the one thing that kept me watching and I wasn’t a Kristen Bell fan back then. Now I am a huge fan of hers though.
