Great News For UK Viewers!
BBC has announced that they will be airing Season 3 (Villains) of Heroes in the fall simultaneously as NBC airs it in the US.
Jana Bennett, director of BBC Vision, has said the traditional several-month delay in the show making it to UK screens will be slashed for the next run.
“People want to participate globally - and, in part, that’s why this autumn, when NBC launches Heroes series three in the States, it will be aired simultaneously by the BBC in the UK,” said Bennett, speaking about changes in TV and media at the Banff Television Festival.
Broadcasters are increasingly looking to narrow delays in international distribution. Bennett said: “Imagine now the world communities and conversations that would congregate around programmes like Planet Earth, Wild China or Amazon - if they were available to that global audience at the same time.”
Heroes season three will begin on NBC with a two-hour launch show on September 22. The second season - which aired in the US in the autumn last year - still has several weeks to run on BBC Two.

That’s pretty cool and bonus, we won’t have to worry so much about causing spoilers with episodes we’ve seen over here.
Actually it doesnt makes any diff though, it’s jus a mater of time whether we get to see it or not. If we missed it, just download from torrent to enjoy the actions. In my case, my country is not catching up the series. So no choice had to either stream or d/l from net to see the actions and drama.

it was the sensible thing to do, otherwise we would have to wait like a year for season three like we did for season 2
I’ll believe it when and if I see it on BBC in the autumn, I’m from Dublin Ireland but have lived in the U.K. for the last 10 years and obviously had BBC in Ireland too, or at the least the northern Irish version which is still BBC with a few program differences, and the BBC seem to say a lot about giving the “people” what the want but then when it comes to giving them it they always squirm out of it somehow, so I think I’ll just wait and see what happens first.

Thats amazing, The BBC has really step up this time. I live in the uk so I wont have to go online to watch them 7 months in advance!!! And I can watch it on my 50inch HD…..Cannot wait!!!!

it’s about time the U K started getting it at the same time the yanks do as there is just as many brits watching it now.i live in belfast and there is always loads of people talking about it when it is on.as long as there is no more crap irish accents in the show i will be happy.what’s the matter have the makers never heard of any irish actors before,instead they have an english actor playing a irish gang member,and that big gimp out of fight club what the hell kind of accent was that?

I can see it a bit too, both are sort of there and sort of not. It’s weird, but I believe it makes a bit of sense. Especially if you combine the two. Thing of the YIng Yang, one side dark, the other white. Now place in the Symbol, which means godsend or great talent. I believe the mural is a representation of the entire season and what it is about, with the people with powers exploring the darkness of their souls and the brightness of them as well.
thank god for that now we wont have what happened at the start of series 2 were it said 4 months later, so like january 08 and we were watching it in february 08 or april 08
