Hey everyone, sorry but the lack of posting lately, but as many of you already noticed I had some serious problems with my site.
Anyway, here’s the preview of fifth episode of Season 3, titled, “Angels and Monsters” with early screencaps and 3 video trailers.
Peter trying to slice Angela? Angela’s bloody hand, Matt’s dad, Arthur Petrelli? Wow!
Several Heroes stand at major crossroads, facing personal decisions that could redefine who’s “good” or “evil” – Claire attempts to take down her first new Villain!
- Armed with Noah’s old files and a taser, attempts to take down her first target — Stephen Canfield, a Level 5 escapee with the ability to create black holes — unaware that others are closing in.
- Peter flees from all the death and destruction in the future, only to grimly discover how deeply the experience has changed him.
- Frustrated that Adam Monroe didn’t get them closer to “the formula,” Hiro takes a stab at becoming friends with Daphne and new associate Knox much to Ando’s dismay.
- Suresh’s urge to correct research errors puts Maya among others, in a sticky situation.
- Linderman advises Nathan to stick by Tracy, seeing that they could accomplish great things together.
In Africa, Matt sees his vision of “happily ever after” destroyed.

Tonight’s World Premiere: Arthur’s first appearance onscreen is a bit of a tease—think of it as the Arthur Petrelli preshow—because Arthur first reconnects with a woman from his past (OK, it’s Angela, his wife) in a dream state, not in person. But dream state or not, Mr. and Mrs. Petrelli are both distinctly unhappy to see each other again.
- The Kids Always Get Stuck in the Middle: Angela and Arthur’s three sons are all going to be pawns in their parents’ big game, which plays out over the remainder of this volume.
- The question becomes: Are the sons powerful enough to withstand the influence of their parents? I expect we’ll hardly be able to tell who is on whose side, because from what I’ve heard, the betrayals and doublecrosses come fast and furious. Milo Ventimiglia tells me, “I think no matter what, as long as Peter and Nathan stick tight, then they’ll be fine.” But…where does that leave Sylar/Gabriel? Out in the brotherly cold? Making waffles for…no one?
- Mama Bear: Someone should really warn Arthur now: Angela Petrelli does not like it when you go after her kids. Mess with them and she will take you down.
- He Got the Power: Yes, Daddy Dearest has some mojo of his own, and we’ll see him use his abilities as early as next week.

Well there goes Nathan’s theory that Linderman is “brain damage from the shooting.” If that were the case, Daphne would not be seeing him too. It’s clear that no one else where she was saw him, and even if Daphne is the type to hallucinate, I doubt it would be Linderman she was seeing. There is a lot more going on with that whole plot line than would first be apparent.

What happened to Peter!! How can he give in to the Hunger? Even Sylar managed to control it in the future and Peter who has so much sympathy and care for people give in to it?
Maybe peters dads ability is to some how let some poeple see someone from the dead. and he could be using linderman to get daphne and get nathan to get other people to join there company. just a thought

I still don’t believe how I liked the 4th episode. I was already ready to publish very negative review of season 3 so far but I decided to give up on it, although I spend 3 hours writing that stuff lol
It really looks strange why David Anders is not listed in, I’ll check it. But he’s definitely in the episode.

Peter wants to scalp his mother? I really looks like everyone’s villain this season. But we all know that his hunger will pass, somehow….

At the end of Episode 5, “Angels and Monsters,” we will be introduced to the “Big Bad.” “It’s very interesting who he is and how close he is to the characters already established. Something we are doing this year that we didn’t do as much last year is humanising our villains. We are understanding where they came from and why the things they hold as important to them are important to them.” The Big Bad will have a power referred to as the Vortex associated with him. It’s that “negative space where he can completely obliterate something or someone and get rid of them with no return.”
looks like Linderman got to Daphane too. This episode is gonna rock. Last weeks was amazing too. I’m very interested in Arthur Petrelli. Not even Angela saw that one coming!

Noo I never indented to stop watching Heroes but the premiere was …. I don’t know, maybe it’s because I have read to much spoilers, but everything seemed sooo not right.
Mohinder seamed like dumpest scientistic in the history. Hiro somehow forgot that he can move BaCK IN TIME ( and to stop Daphne).
Not to mention the fact that the writers seem to have little to no idea exactly what the **** their heroes can actually do. The very first scene future Claire trying to kill Peter, why is she trying to kill him with a gun?
No character development. Why was Claire crying during first 2 episodes?
At that time, I thought that this season should be called “Season 3: I Really, Really Hate Time Travel”.
But after 4th episode, can’t wait to see the next one!

And yes, I Am Become Death really was one of the best episodes I’ve seen in a long, LONG time, probably since Season One.
Im glad that Adam Monroe is once again with us , and story is great , but whats the point that Piter is going to be Sylar with his ability , i mean its kinda kinky ( for me at least ) ??
Well, he needs to have that ability to figure out the formula. And yes, that’s why we call this volume “Villains” - everyone has a darker side

Hey guys, this is my first entry so I’m not really up on all the Heroes “jargon” although I have watched and read as much as I could get my hands on, to do with heroes so might not be too out of touch.
Anyway the guy in the photo with Claire is Andre Royo and is supposedly the villain that Claire has gone after, I think his power is creating black holes, and I’m assuming this is when Noah and Sylar comes along and finds her with this villainous guy.
On another note, does anyone know if Poppa Petrelli has an ability because back near the beginning or somewhere in the virtual novel, it states that he doesn’t have one? Although now the writers/creators have decided to make abilities something that can be obtained with an injection I suppose he could have been given it when they were starting the company.
Anyway if anyone has heard anything at all about him having a power or what it might be please let me know. Thanks, pj.

He did not forget. If you watch again he said to Ando that he would not go back to the past again. “Butterfly Effect” happened when he went back to feudal Japan, leading to Takezo Kensei’s change. So, he’d rather not mess with the past again.
Thats why he said “Instead I’ll go to the future” to see whats the impact.

Same reason as to how Claire killed Peter in episode 4. A bullet to the back of the head (medula oblongata?) is enough.

Would you cry when someone was touching your brain and pulling stuff out without anesthetic? Losing her sense of power made her feel inhuman too, which is all she really wants.
Sorry for the double post, heres my theories so far.
I think the “special” thing that future Claire and Sylar mentioned about Claire being not like the others and she’s special is that she’s born with powers. She’s not given powers using a formula or sorts.
Maybe those who are born with powers are much stronger than those who are given the exact same power but with the formula. Thats why I think that Claire won’t die with a bullet to her head, but Peter will.
I’m really worried, Claire thinks she’s invincible, but if she’s facing a “black hole” villain, she might be “black holed” and thats more like dying.
Oh and what happened to the episode 4 spoiler with “Haitian removing Hiro’s memories and make him think that he’s 10 years old?”

Not sure where I read it but apparently Elle returns within one of the next two episodes and asks Claire for her help, not sure what kinda help but I assume it’s so she can get back into the company, considering she knows nothing else I think it’s either that or help to get revenge on Sylar. what do you think??

I read your entry and have been thinking the same about alot of the “reveals” that are to come. I thought the same about Claire and Peter but what about Adam? because back in volume 2 there was a few times when it was mentioned to kill Adam you needed to “put a bullet in the back of his head” and he couldn’t have been given the ability as he has had it for something like 500 years, so if this does actually work then I would assume that Claire can be killed the same way.

Looks like I missed that one out. You’re so right.
But IIRC, Angela told Matt that “one bullet is enough to kill him” was for Matt to kill Peter, not Adam. I could say here that she knows that Adam cannot die, and the real threat is Peter, not Adam.
But then again, for that other girl I forgot her name, the one that Matt forced out from Angela, then Peter and Adam went to visit her. She also screamed something like “I knew one bullet on your head was enough”, she could possibly be wrong about it.
She never got to shot Adam. Adam was equally frightened, maybe because he too was never shot at the head before. And hearing all the rumours that being shot at the head would kill even an immortal, he’s bound to be scared.
Somehow, even if its a plot hole, I still think the directors are trying to make Claire completely invincible, as in cannot die even if shot at the head. Sylar got to her brain, she’s still fine. Future Knox says that “Unlike us, you can’t die” to future Claire.
Its the future, everyone has powers. Everyone should know that healers will die when shot at the head. Why would Knox still say “You can’t die” to Claire?
they don’t die if they get shot in the head, they just die for a litle while to someone takes the bullet out but if the bullet just went through she or he would just heal.
i’m agee that claires power probably is special. sylar told her that she only used about 15% of her powers. She probably has some kind of attacking function also like drain all the life in an sortcut of area or something because if she just used 15% she got to have something more then just healing or heal really fast or not even getting hurt
and the only reason why peter died in the futute was because hatian was there and stopped him from using his power and you can’t heal from the death

Here’s your totally crazy (and most likely wrong) theory for the week:
There is no Papa Petrelli. Sure, there may have been one a long time ago, but Matt Parkman’s father has been pulling the strings for a long time. Remember, he can make anyone think they’re seeing anything (like maybe Daphne and Nathan seeing Linderman, or even Angela Petrelli seeing her husband die?).
Crazy theory - Matt Parkman’s father is the leader of the villains, and has been using several mental disguises (Papa Petrelli, Linderman, who knows who else) to play everyone against each other.
Just a thought.
i think the big bad could be the eric doyle guy coz he is big and he is supposed to be bad!!!!

I don’t know if you people have seen a video made by Adrian Pasdar on his youtube channel… This video shows Maya sticked to the wall by some kinda web, presumably the thing from Mohinder’s fingers. It also says that Tracy and Nathan will visit him.
So I think that Tracy and Nathan will meet with Suresh… Than Suresh web them to the walls he leaves and than Tracy freezes the her web… than Nathan’s and Maya’s… They also say that TRACY AND NATHAN WILL HAVE TO FIGHT FOR THEIR LIVES WITH MOHINDER.
So there is a battle going on!!! Yes…

Is it Elle that you think will be the mother of Sylar’s kid; “Noah”?? I wouldn’t be surprised at all, and I also think that you are right that she needs to be brought back in as a bigger player than she has been in the last few episodes. Not only because shes hot “as you stated” but also due to the wackiness of her personality and as it seems also her powers.
Do you think she was already dead when Knox, Daphne & Claire went to get Pater at the Bennet home(in future) or was she just off somewhere else??

A couple of thoughts.
First, if Hiro does kill Ando, maybe Adam will be right there to bleed on him.
Second,
I think it is necessary this season for Mohinnder to either resolve his issue or die.
Finally,
I’m scared to death that HRG will die this season. I can’t take that kind of pressure after expecting it all last season. As Silar’s child was named after him, he must have died and made a great influence on Silar.
Didn’t the way Silar felt about his son Noah, seem alot like the way Noah feels for Claire? Strange.
It makes me wonder who they could kill off and who they couldn’t.
I think Hiro, Claire, Peter, Silar, Matt, and the children (Micah, Monica, Molly) won’t be killed off this season. They’re too much of the heart of Heroes. Anyone else is up for grabs. Tracy can easily die because they have another Ali Larter character just waiting for such a situation. I wonder if that is who was with Nathan in the Future.

Me again. Angela actually told both Matt and Nathan firstly that “Adam will never quit, one bullet right through his head, it’s the only way”, and then went on to tell Parkman through his abilities “if you can’t stop Peter, you’ll have to kill him too, right through the head”, which would work if infact like Sylar has shown us that their abilities lye in specific parts of the brain, and if that part was to be destroyed then it wouldn’t be able to work/regenerate. But then there’s the fact that Claire is the outcome of two people with abilities and since we don’t know if Adam is the same then Claire could have an even stronger ability than Adam.
But anyway thats not really important because I might not agree with how you came to your conclusion but I totally agree that Claire is Special(but we already know this) but she is going to more than likely be the key to solving the catastrophe of volume 3 if not the entire program, but maybe thats a bit too far, but I’m sure her abilities come with other aspects other than her healing ability, she’s the only one that I can remember that doesn’t have to try and make her ability work, when shes hurt she just regenerates where as the others have to concentrate.
Anyway all just observations and guess work, I guess we’ll see what they decide to come up with soon enough, well actually not soon enough but soon hopefully.

You may be right, I went back and had a look and apparently Elle’s power keeps overloading and blowing out of control and this is why(or at least part of why she turns to Claire for help). But I’m thinking this is how she dies, it will be something like her and Claire are in a confrontation with one of the villains or something even bigger and Elle will blow out again killing the bad guy and herself, saving some of the heroes lives.(but that would mean she hasn’t had time to have a baby, but how knows). Who knows though, it could be that Elle becoming a ally with Claire is the connection with Sylar, since Claire’s father is now his partner and if the future is anything to go by he must have a pretty big effect on Sylar for him to name his kid after him, and if Elle is with Claire and Sylar is with HRG then they are bonded to come in contact again. What do you think??

My Mini-Review
Holy f**king crap! This episode was totally unbelievable! It was fantastic! My jaw dropped a few times! Especially when Ando was stabbed!!
Mohinder turns very very villain, Hiro turns villain, HRG aka Noah turns villain, Peter turns villain, Claire shows sign of her future self!!
Daphne shows she is good hearted (she refused to kill), Adam agreed to work with Hiro (well, although it was 2 mins long), Sylar turns hero (he saved Claire and her mother!), and Samedi (sacrificed himself to prevent himself from killing)!
Linderman is actually Maury’s doing! We also learned that Maury is taking orders from Mr. Petrelli. I think this was the BEST
ending EVER on Heroes, when Maury said, “Mr Petrelli”
I think Ando wouldn’t die, and that’s why he was angry at killed Hiro just like what Hiro saw. Remember future Ando said, “You betrayed me!” Ahha..
The Heroes world is turning UP side DOWN. Heroes are turning Villains. Villains are turning Heroes, well some of them anyway. Now Sylar is great, he’s a temporary (lets hope pernament) Hero! Everytime I see Peter, I am very afraid that he is gonna go on a brain slicing madness. By the way, I just wanna say a big thank you to Mohinder for sticking Maya to a wall! We will see lesser of her now, and even if we do, we will see her stuck! A BIG HOOOORAY!!
The Puppeteer is very scary….just by seeing what he can do freaks the living shit out of me…
Ok, out of the 12 villains, flint is locked away, the german, jesse and samedi are gone. 12 - 4 = 8. 8 villains left. But if you add the heroes turns villains, the numbers are gonna increase like mad

Can’t wait to watch Chapter 6 “Dying of the Light” especially after seeing the preview!

I rate this episode 5 out of 5. Season 3 is just getting better and better and better!

I like ur thinking on what might soon happen to elle. But let’s just hope she plays a big role in one of the next episodes case I would like to see a lot more of her since she hasn’t been in the show that much yet. And as for episode 5 it was the goods right??!! I would have to say I didnt see that comming when hero killed ando, that was a major jaw dropper. Ando is so gonna kick his ass when he’s back on his feet LOL.

Do you really think ando is really dead though. Will hiro go back and save him, or will adam regenerate him. Ando was one of my favs, and now i hope he comes back and kills hiro.
I loved the Sylar/Claire goodness in this episode.
Also what’s the deal with people having powers and not using them, it feels like the writers forget what powers characters have; for example Sylar has super hearing, you’d think when he heard HRG scream ‘kill my partner!’ he would have stepped up and done a thing or two, maybe not kill HRG but at least incapacitate him…and Claire, why are you just so damn useless, sucks to be her, oh i can heal and i can’t die but i can die boo hooo no one understands me wahh wahh daddy’s little girl, someone should slap that girl ASAP cause that taser scene was just embarrassing. These heroes are just pissing me off, let’s step up to the plate yeah? It’s about time to see some powers flyen’ and some people dyen’
Thank god Ando’s dead, most useless character ever, now if they’d only kill the 1237985629 versions of Ali Larter’s character that would be cool, Matt Parkmen is useless as well, Nathan I could definitely do without his boring self, and for Pete’s sake (literally) can Peter live up to at least half of his potential???!! He has the most badass ability and he hardly uses it! He’s had to of absorbed at least 50 powers by now so let’s harness all that badassery and get to using it Peter…he could have saved a lot of people a long time ago….also why is future Peter dead, he can regenerate, once the Haitian was out of the vicinity those bullets should have popped right out and he would have been right as rain, there are just too many gaps in this show….
Quite a rant i know, I do love the show though, plot gaps and all, especially Sylar, he’s the man, and he knows it.
aliasgrace, you’ve got to think, if they put the full potential of peoples abilities into play all the time, (peter and sylar especially) there would be no good storyline, things would just get boring if sylar killed everytime someone said no to him. at least thats what i think, a bit of restraint on there abilities helps build story on their personality.
