I think the Hatians power is “targeted”, so to speak. He doesn’t nullify everything in a given area, he focuses his attention on who to shut down. Especially considering such a powerful villian as Arthur, he’d have a tough time controlling both him and Sylar at once.

Technically, isn’t the bullet still in Arthur’s head? That would keep him from regenerating. If it had gone right through and out the other side he probably would have regenerated far more quickly.

Tsunamis and Tornadoes(Natural Disasters) are caused by Weather right?
so Weather Manipulation can totally create those…
But if Alice is so powerful to create Tsunamis then how come she never tried escaping? We see in the pictures that she can create strong gusts of wind so she could have broken out of that place. But, is that place underground? if it is then sorry, my theory wouldn’t work.

I think that Alice was Angela’s baby sister and that Angela used her ability to see that her sister is safer there.Maybe Angela focused her precog to tell which person with abilities will be out of control with there abilities and they locked them up.The only reason Alice is alive is because she lied about her future or something.

i hope Peter gets his Aunts power that would be sweet. If peter and syler faught and peter has his aunts powers he could do some work agenst syler, i think.

i dunno… peter at the moment doesnt really have chance against Sylar.
he’s kinda a joke with this power..
He needs his old power back

how would peter getting the weather changing ability make him able to do tsunami’s as some people say?
Tsunamis are caused by earthquakes? not the weather?

i just seen the episode…wow great one……you know how they were saying that next season there is going to be a girl baddy now…well i think its going to be angela’s sister…..she is sweet!!!!! what do you think?

  13. Mihajlo 14. Apr, 2009 at 2:25 pm #

I think she should appear in the next season, but not as the villain, at least not the main villain.
Maybe they can give her a story line similar to X-men’s Phoenix/Jean Gray. She can be mad at everyone, have no purpose or goals, be villainous for no reason, and the only thing that can stop her would be a “chat” with Angela or someone…

It was nice to see Charles Devraux’ ability. But it does raise several questions:
    1) It looks identical to Arthur’s mind manipulation ability. Did he willingly “give” it to Arthur when he learned he was sick? Or did Arthur simply steal it from him ?
    2) Why the hell did Linderman let him die ?

Devraux’ presence reminded me alot of Arthur. Very confident, and persuasive.

Maybe more flashback episodes will show us they both had similar attitudes. This episodes showed us Devraux pretty much had his way with Angela. So how did she end with Arthur? Did Arthur league Linderman against Devraux, which would explain why he didn’t heal him ? Or did Devraux feel so guilty about the company’s doing that he chose to die ?

    We need more flashback episodes!

how come when they do the “previously on heroes” part sometime it shows a part that wasnt even in the episode before. like that conversation suresh has with his land lord wat the fuck was up with that

  17. Nick 14. Apr, 2009 at 4:06 pm #

@F.D. It might make you happy to know that the writers had planned for an episode entitled “1977″ to appear in the canceled “Exodus” volume (due to the writer’s strike it was cut from season 2). They’ve stated in this week’s edition of Behind the Eclipse, however, that they fully intend to revisit that story…whatever it was.

Maybe we’ll learn about the other founders of the company, like Carlos Mendez, or just how many Company members Angela had a romantic entanglement with… ;)

  18. Nick 14. Apr, 2009 at 4:09 pm #

    @thepoopsmith

i’m going out on a limb, but it’s possible that scene was cut for the time allotted for the episode, and will reappear in the deleted scenes of the DVD when it comes out. They probably threw the missing scene back in for last night’s preview because it better summarized what was going on.

i just studied the pics up top…sad to say folks…but nathan is really gone…if you would look at the pic were Danko is holding the shotgun to the floor in the bottom left corner you can see the back of nathans shoes and part of his pants on the floor…plus the pic on the bottom that one were Danko is seen holding the shotgun to the floor but Sylar is in right by him…..so the predictions are right…..its official…Nathan is dying next episode!!

Angela has been known to sleep around, F.D. We already know she was sleeping with Kaito at one stage and she was with Arthur for a long time. Now apparantly Charles was sweet on her once upon a time.

I would have thought Arthur would have taken Charles’s ability as well, but for one thing. How do we know it’s telepathy and not persuasion Charles had? It certainly looked like persuasion in the bar (he made them leave them alone, which is what Eden did). I agree it’s much more likely he had telepathy and that is where the Arthur link came from, but still…

As for Linderman, I think it’s likely he just didn’t care about Charles anymore. He’d gotten a lifetime’s worth of support out of him, the man had enough money to look after himself, and while he was aware of the plan for New York, there was nothing he could do to aid in it. The war has also been shown to have changed Linderman for the worse- by Season 1 he’s become a much colder man. That’s probably why.

  21. F.D. 14. Apr, 2009 at 9:43 pm #

I suspect the Company has something to do with Linderman’s fortune (specifically, Bishop).

It was interesting to see Bishop as a vulnerable/nerdy loser, considering how mean he became. I’d be interested to see Elle’s mom.

Angela became the b*tch we all came to know, whereas Deveaux seemed to be exactly like he was in season 1: friendly, easy-going, and hard to impress.

Linderman wasn’t exactly a villain. He healed Nathan’s wife, as well as Angela’s memory. We still don’t know what he would’ve got out of Nathan’s presidency. All we knew was that he had a Mendez painting presuming Nathan as president and he wanted to pull all the strings he could to make it happen. So did Angela, by the way, who was willing to sacrifice Peter (and New York City for that matter) for this. I got the feeling Linderman was still linked to the Company (or possibly Pinhearst, if Arthur started it before Angela attempted to kill him) somehow even if he was independent of fortune.

    @ Peterman

Yeh but also if u look in the other Photo sylar has a blade in the back of his head and sylar looks shocked… so maybe sylar is yet again gonna be a fake death. Also in the one scene nathan is holding a silver gun and another shot has what looks like the same gun pointed at sylars head

Not sure what will really happen but i cant wait to see!!

  23. Krippler 15. Apr, 2009 at 9:02 pm #

I was not impressed with this episode, to me it had to many meaningless flashbacks with angela and her sister, i mean i know they are gonna be close they are freaking sisters…….and what did Sahresh do that was so bad he just injected angela’s sister the same he did her, and the little girl paniced, so i say again angela and her bad dreams does nothign but bring them to reality….i wish they would kill her so she stops “running ” the plot of the show to an extent. Dont get me wrong i do like the info of how the Company was formed but unless the sister is coming back into the story to play a vital role then to me half the episode was wasted on there relationship. and im still not sure of what suhresh really did that was so bad other than doing as his government said, if u guys got any insight plz let me know, but overall i am ready for the next couple episodes…looking very intriging

    HEROES!!! HEROES!!! HEROES!!!

  24. F.D. 15. Apr, 2009 at 9:16 pm #

To me it’s rather obvious that Alice will be featured in next season, most likely as a Villain. Not really evil… only kind of retarded, and unstable because she lived 50 years by herself in the desert.

I kind of wonder how far they can take the “fugly weather witch” plot though. It would especially be hard to make it unpredictable. Having the “ANGELAAAA YOU LIEEEED TO MEE SO I’M GONNA WIPE THE PLANET WITH SERIES OF TSUNAMIS AND IT’S ALL YOUR FAAAAAULT” line served would blow.

  25. Krippler 15. Apr, 2009 at 9:47 pm #

I will not be a huge fan of alice being the Villlain in the next season , if anything claire will change her outlook on thing maybe once nathan is killed and she will be viewed finally as the Badgirl instead of the helpless cheerleader, possibly leading to the 5YG plot where she is hunting peter, finally thinkin that anyone with powers is too dangerous, regardless of who they are and what they may be tryin to do

  26. Arthassia 16. Apr, 2009 at 12:33 am #

I have to agree with you that eventhough I enjoyed learning the history behind The Company, it did have too many unnecessary flashbacks between Angela & Alice.

On a completely unrelated topic, how the heck did the brunette Alice grow up to be the blonde Alice? Hmmmmm

I do think this current plot is headed towards the 5YG episode…. there may be some changes but the end result is the same.

i dont understand y sylar is posing as nathan if danko had nathans picture hanging on the big board of fugitives. wouldnt his men want to capture him? even if they knew it wasnt him then they would know he’s a shapeshifter.

  28. F.D. 16. Apr, 2009 at 2:39 pm #

I don’t remember Danko putting Nathan’s pic on his board. Last time he updated the board it was to put James’ face on top if my memory serves me well.

AFAIK, Danko’s team is not even aware Nathan has an ability.

  29. thepoopsmith 16. Apr, 2009 at 4:36 pm #

in the episode after nathan is found out, before danko pulls sylars pic off the board and puts james martins pic on top, u can see right under sylar is peter nathan angela and probly claire

I thought Season Three Was only up to Chapter 13?

  31. Randy 21. Apr, 2009 at 1:37 pm #

    @Lanime

Season 3 is the longest season so far and it includes volume 4:Fugitives.
Maybe because Fugitives would be too short by itself, like season 2 was short compared to the first and the directors probably didn’t want to do that again.
