Just a thought… If Peter touches Sylar, would he mimic just the power that Sylar is using/ accessing, OR all the powers that Sylar currently has? OR his intuitive aptitude (complete with The Hunger) and possibly telekinesis?
sk74 i think peter would only get what ever power sylar is currently using because if he can only absorb one power wouldn’t be the one thats being used? i mean wouldn’t he have to touch sylar when he about to aquire a new ability to obtain his intuitive aptitude?
Hey, there is something I don’t understand… Peter told Tracy that he can only have one power at a time, that once he touches someone, he looses his old power… The thing is that the last person he touched was Tracy which means that his only power should be icing people, however, at the end of the show, he flies to escape from Nathan… So… It’s kind of weird, no?
Look everyone most understand, that when it comes to heroes and any other show on television, it is first and foremost a business. That being said, the writers are not always drawn to the full purpose of the story, but also the purpose of keeping the show on the air so that they will get paid.
I say this to tie into Peter’s ability. The reason why Peter only has the ability to take one power at a time, and the reason why he will keep that ability is because the writers could not HANDLE peter. It can be said throughout numerous of interviews, that Peters limitless powers caused trouble in creating conflict for him, so they purposely limited peters so that there could conflict in the heroes world, that wouldn’t quckly be resolved by peter and his powers. They can care less about how “weak” Peter will be. I personally think it’s a good plan.
David, what occe is alluding to is that before peter flew away, he was touching nathan – you must have missed the part when peter was trying to use nathan as a meat sheild when the hunter and hrg had peter and tracy targeted, eh?

so ando its like a big super charger
and peter has been reduced to only holding one power at a time…
but if peter absorbs andos then it would amplify the “only hold one pewpew power” into its former glory of holding ALL pewpew powers…therefore potentaily crossing out the sad and feeble new power of peter .
Ando is a super charger for other people, not himself so if peter absorbed his power it would allow him to super charge others not himself. If Ando on the other hand supercharged Peter it would probably allow him to take in more than one power at once or all the powers that were near him but Ando’s power doesn’t seem too last for very long so Peter would probably lose them again when the power wore off, maybe getting them would awakened him to his abilities again. ………..MAYBE…… To answer your original Question NO.
tbh i like peters new abillity to touch others to absorb power much less complicated than his empathic mimicry but i wish that he was able to take on more than one abillity though:(

some people hate it some people like it everyone has their own opnions about it but if peter gained all of his old ones back then the storyline would be different he would have been abl to fight like sylar did but i suppose that would of been good to see aswell

I have to say, I absolutely love how Sylar is almost a seperate story at the moment and how his character is really developing! Hes just brilliant!! And he’s pretty much the only “Hero” who doesnt whine all the time!
