Well the young apprentice Luke will only be in the show for three episodes, so Sylar probably does kill him. He has the power to emit microwaves.

i dont think slyar should have a side kick and if i recall peter lost his powers and gained them back by the formula so he got different powers it all makes sense and i think they might kill off nathen this season and it what i dont like is how they didnt even tell you how sylar is still alive
also i think they should take off hiro because he lost his powers
Sylar needs to get X-ray vision so he stops doing the lame cutting thing with his finger. At first it was cool, but now it’s just too much.

ok i am so sorry john but your not making any sense its only the first episode so dont expect all that has happened to be told remember the beginning of season 2 it waited until episode 5 to reveil how peter lost his memory and got the electric power and another thing the hiro thing hiro will get them back alot sooner then you think and even if he doesnt what difference is that from peter losing his hiro is a main character just like peter matt nathan and claire hrg sylar ando and all those other main characters that arent going to be killed but i will not allow you to cry about something and its only the first episode….get it got it good
oh and the john about the sylar having a apprentice is what tim kring wanted you will be satisfied in the end if you only wait and dont try to rush everything cause its the first episode
oh and i do have a question as welll here is the funny thing i am sooo worried about i know this is old and all but in season 2 sylar lost his powers right that means the hunger should have went as well i think it was lame they didnt notice that
ya but sylar got his powers back by using that mixture of claire’s blood at the very end remember? so when he got his power back he also regained the hunger
also my guess is that peter’s powers are different. my guess would be that he temporarily steals the other person’s power. so like when he took Mohinder’s strength, that means Mohinder was probably powerless for a little while. It would also explain why he never touched Claire and took her power. Because otherwise you’d think that would be one of the first things you do is make yourself invulnerable.
i love daphine and matt they r so cooooool and i don’t get how peter has 2 touch to get other powers or maybe he has 2 touch to absorb their powers not steal or borrow their powers i hear daphin is gonna die
and how did sylar get out of the fire @ pineharst? maybe the fire was so hot really hot that it melted the glass in the back of his head so he survived and i want marideath to come back
no no no peter mimicks peoples ability, so since he never saw mohinder and tracy using their power so he used another method and touched them to get there abilities, well wait and see
He has taken peoples abilitys by just being near them, he didnt see ted sprage using his power. nor did he see DL using his power. but he took them. its silly to think that he had the ability to take peoples powers by touch to begin with. i think its just so they can keep tabs on what powers he gets now. rather than he just accidently becoming a god, he will take the powers he wants. they will obviously come up with some story about why this change happened, perhaps losing his powers and then using the formula made them weaker. perhaps this was what his power would evolve into, rather than him just taking everything he now chooses. and maybe the formula gave him a different kind of power rather than the one he was born with. all theories but i doubt we will get the full explanation anyway

I don’t think Peter has different powers as the formula was to give the individual the ability to use what ever power was laying dormant in their DNA which is why they say everyone can have a different ability, and remember Peter didn’t touch Nathan just before he flew out the window of Pinehearst, and he had only injected himself when he realized the place was gonna go up in flames, so no its not different, its the same ability he had before. Peoples abilities doesn’t change they just grow and evolve but evolve with the same ability not a different one….;0)..
I think whats happening is that we are just getting our first glimpse at what does happen when Peter takes an ability with physical touch. I’m also thinking that Peter is starting to understand how to control his abilities since all the others around him were drugged so their abilities weren’t working until Claire took their drips out(and not all of them either) and if they all had of been it might have been bad for Peter because the last time when he took on too many powers he couldn’t control them and nearly blew up New York but I know he can control that more now but with there been so many powers in the plane it could have been too many all at once. But hey not really an issue now, although when he took Tracy’s ability he had to pause while fighting the soldier because it must have taken effect and since he did end up putting a hole in the plane without even wanting to, I’m thinking he has learned how to control it very well when he does contract too many powers at the same time…..

Oh my God, i just saw episode one from the new chapter (that is seaason 3 episode 14) and i`m so happy for them. Thank God, they survived the plane crash, i was so worried and after the episode i was here reading the plot for episode 15 because i wanted to see if my dear Parkman survived. Can someone tell me wich of them survived? Couse i`m worried sick. From the photos i can see Claire (i didn`t even worry about her
) , Mohinder,Parkman , Daphne and Ando. Thanks
Peter’s power did change or he would have absorbed Mohinder’s power in the cab. There are alot of possibilities as to what Peter’s “new” power is. I think it is the same as his father’s and he will have to learn how to use it like he had to learn how to use empathic mimicry in season one. Question is will he take other people’s powers in order to keep them permanently.
Parkman’s power is similar. At first he could only read minds, now he can implant powerful suggestions. It took time to develop or to learn how to use it.
Whatever way they decide to play out Peter’s abilities, whether new or the same, it will have to be at least the same as before, whether there are new elements to it or not because when Peter injected himself with the formula First he wasn’t touching Nathan when he flew him out of Pinehearst before it blew up, so he can obviously absorb powers without having to touch to transfer it….

Yes he did touch nathan before he flew, he dived into him and when he touched nathan he absorbed his ability so technically he can have another power he initially had.
I really think he has another, weaker power than his old power.
It would certainly balance everything out, i think i’ve read somewhere that Sylar has a great weakness aswell so he will be trimmed down powerwise too.
But maybe Peter has learned to control his absorbtion, time will tell.

the thing about matt drawing the future kinda makes since because he can bend reality and in his mind and the next step from that is telling the future and about peters power he has the power of his dad
nick if peter only temporaily stole ppls powers and left others powerless then how would mohinder have gotten out of the shackle things chaining him down? no peter has his old ability back but if you look back to s1 when peter was around that ted guy he was around him for hours before he got his ability so maybe touching the person is just a quicker way to get powers, and the powers that the heroes have are implanted in there dna so if they lose there power and take the formula then they will get the same power back, because its like hardwired into there dna.
and i really dont think peter has his dads power but who know my above post was only a theory as well, i think how peters ability works is he has to feel how ther other person feels to absorb it? i dunno theres to many theorys to think about

peter has a new type of power its the same as absorption but he can only have one at a time and only get it with touching them it doesnt make him the strongest person anymore now he and sylar have switch places for the lead
