Heroes Season 3 Casting Update

- Monica and Nana Dawson will return in the first few episodes, during which time their plot will remain in New Orleans and be centered around their relationship with Micah.
- West is likely to be gone for the time being.
- William Katt, who played Ralph Hinkley on Greatest American Hero will be making an appearance on Heroes : “I play a really, really wonderful, seedy, smarmy-mouthed reporter that goes after Ali Larter. It was a lot of fun.” Katt said he worked almost exclusively with Ali Larter. “She hogged me. She wanted me all to herself,” he jokes. Katt teases in the article that “he has the power of persuasion,” but the article claims the character doesn’t have powers.
- Shalim Ortiz reveals that his character might return next season. “We’re in the talks. It’s not written in stone yet, but yeah, sure. I’m very good friends with the executive producers, so hopefully we’ll be able to figure something out.” Seeing as this was before the strike, scripts could’ve been changed and Alejandro may remain dead.
- Malcolm McDowell ( Daniel Linderman) that he would be returning to Heroes for five episodes of Season Three.
- Jason Badower reveals that some of the new characters used in the Root and Branch graphic novels would likely be cast for the show.
- Francis Capra has been cast as Jesse Murphy on Heroes, and will share at least one scene with Kristin Bell, his Veronica Mars co-star. Francis is doing a three-episode guest arc as villain Jesse Murphy, a thug who runs with a gang of two-bit criminals. However, Jesse is more than just a meathead. He does have a power.
- Bennets and Petrellis are staying front and center, and they will continue to be at odds with each other. There will be some shocking alliances and the appearance of at least one long-lost relative.
- N’Tare Mwine has joined the cast as an Aboriginal story teller named Usutu. Usutu will appear in episodes 3 and 4. This will not be the first time he has worked with Heroes. N’Tare Mwine was originally to play the terrorist Joseph Al Amir in the unaired pilot.
- David Anders will appear again in Season 3.

Wow. Some major spoilers there. Linderman’s back! I liked the Linderman character. And Adam Monroe. They’re both pretty cool. Can’t wait until the new season!

Hey the terrorist from the Heroes season 1 unaired pilot is back. I am not so excited about him though :’( . It will be great if Alehandro returns, she might tell her sister off for not listening to him.

Yeah, about the reporter… I reckon that the reporter will discover Niki’s power while she’s in action, for instanse; by accident… Well, imagine… Niki walking down the street with her shopping bags… opps… the bus is driving with many poeple in it and the driver can’t stop it! Than Niki throws the bags away and decides to STOP the bus… she goes in front of it and waits for it… bus hitts her she stops it right before it crashes against the wall… than the reporter discovers her ability and takses some pictures… The reporter is clever enough to keep her hidden and decides not to public the photos… He decides to get to know more about Niki… The hero…
It’s just my weird imagination… but who knows… Heroes has to come up with someone not special discovering a hero… There are so many hereos and it’s almost impossible to be a secret hero for ever…
I’m sure plenty of non-powered folks have seen specials. Either the Company covers it up, the person ignores what they’ve seen and rules it to be a mistake, or they’ve just kept quiet.
And you’re right, unless the Company has like a massive neuralizer hidden somewhere, or a machine that amplifies the Haitian’s ability, I don’t see how this can be kept secret forever. Although, they did do quite the job of covering up Peter going boom in the sky over NYC. I’m still wondering how they pulled that off.
I’m kinda glad that Monica is coming back because her storlyine this season kinda sounds interesting with her becoming st joan and then the new villian named fox or knox or whatever in her town . If the whole plot for season 3 is about the villians and them running around causing chaos then atleast she won’t be completely left off like last season and she will finally get to use her power doing some kick ass action.
I agree with Tarot, about the normal humans atleast seeing Peter or Hiro jumping of a building or disappearing into thin air. In Genesis someone must have seen Peter on the building and he was right there in the middle of busy New York on high rise building. There are like thousands of special people a normal person would one day have to see them use their abilities.
Well it looks like my wish might come true,if they go down the graphic novel root.
How can linderman be back. DL put a bullet through his head. He can’t have his powers back though, unless its either a past linderman if you know what i mean!!
I heard rumours that Sylar joins forces with Adam but that seems unlikey because all Sylar wants is powers and Adam has rapid cell regenration, Sylar tried to get power from claire and he has a chance to get it again, IF he finds Adam he will most likely to kill Adam rather than join forces with him and i think that Adam is the the main character that will get killed in the first few episodes of villains.
I don’t think it’s Adam who gets killed in the first few episodes.
He’s not shows biggest star.

Ny thinking is that Niki will get saved by linderman, remember he has a heeling power… and they will form their own group will their own plans…

Its about Paullete Hawkins, DL’s mom (her ability is to level up the powers of heroes) there is a quote that Paullete became a thorn on Her dautherer-in-law and lindermans side… this implies that Linderman and Niki will actually work together!!!
I hope am right… this all fits, Niki got killed in the explosion! Linderman is comming back! Linderman brings Niki to life! He informs Niki about his plan and that he needs her to make a difference! Niki joins him due to the fact that he wants to make a difefrence and that her son died.
This would explain why in all promos Niki is dressed up like a higher class woman!
well if Linderman is comming back he needs some people to bring his plans to be real. Niki would be a good partner to do so…
Think about it, Niki and Linderman interact quite well! But the question is… If they will stand on the side of Good or Evil.
whoever said they think Hiro is gonna die is an absolute moron. Not even scrolling back up to your name because you arent worth the effort. Peter AND Hiro will never be killed on this show they are the two most popular guys and the ones with the best powers. Peter is more likely to die than hiro because they can just kill peter off and turn sylar good since they have almost identical powers. but that will never happen either.
Tim kring knows who his bread and butter characters are and he’s not stupid enough to kill them off.
