Heroes Episode Recap: Volume 2 Episode 1 “Four Months Later”

First of all I must say this was a great season premiere!

Again, It all starts with Mohinder reminding us who are heroes, what they can and other stuff to help us remember previous season.

Then 4 months later, we find Mohinder giving a conference about revolution. He is seeking help to fund his researches and find a cure for this “illness”. After the speech man approaches him with proposal to fund hes research by giving a job. Yeah, he is “The Company” man. Also he has power which is turning metal to gold. Look at him, he looks way too normal to not be dangerous… Don’t you agree?

Our first look at Season 2’s latest Heroes, Maya and Alejandro Herrera.
The two are battling their way through South America on their way to America, where they hope to find salvation for their problem. Actually Maya has a “problem”. Apparently they are running away from cops because Maya is wanted for murder(s). They pay a great deal of money to a human smuggler to get to US border. Later on, smuggler breaks the deal, leaves Alejandro and takes Maya with them. But Alejandro finds the truck, with all men dead including the other fugitives. Maya is there by the truck, crying and telling him she didn’t do it on purpose. Apparently, she can’t control her “illness”.

We met Claire on her first day at new school at California. Family is trying to be ordinary, playing safe and keeping a low-profile.Claire meets boy called West, who has a power of flying but of course both don’t know about each other.

Matt Parkman is still in New York, caring for young Mollie ( with Mohinder) , whose dreams of “the bogeyman” continues to haunt her. She doesn’t want to talk about him, neither to say where he is because she’s scared he might kill them.
Also It’s worth to mention that Matt joined NYPD Blue and left his ex-wife behind. Wasn’t she pregnant?

Hiro Nakamura meets his hero, Takezo Kensei ( We left Hiro in 1641 - Feudal Japan ). Apparently Kensei is not a hero, in fact he is English man who fights for money, not glory. Future says it different, what Hiro is supposed to do?

Back in future, his father Kaito Nakamuta and Ando are still waiting for Hiro in front of the Kirby Building, where Hiro teleported himself. Kaito finds in his daily newspapers a picture with red sign which means he is going to die in next 24 hours.

They both go to Dexter Building. Short after Ando leaves to get Kaito a sword for protection. Angela Petrelli shows up with the same sign on her picture. They argue a little bit, Kaito shows redemption for things he has done in past. Angela leaves.Later on, a man wearing a hoodie shows up. Kaito recognizes him but a second later hoodie man pushes himself and Kaito of the building. But somehow, the mysterious man manages to escape. I think he’s extraordinary

What about Nathan? Well hes alive. With beard. Apparently he can’t accept “Peter’s death”. And he is divorced. Picture says it all.

As for Peter we meet him in last scene. Some guy with weird accent opens up a shipping container and they find Peter chained up in a corner. He is alive, but doesn’t remember a thing. Episode ends.
