Gotay, are u going on the assumption that Nathan’s ‘death’/ Pasdar ‘leaving’ could be one big massive foiler? If so, I’m with you on that one – I’ll only believe it when I see it! Partly coz Nathan is the Comeback King of Heroes (Claire definitely takes after her bio-Dad… hard to kill lol!) but also, it still seems strange to me that they would reveal such a major death so soon, and in the way they did. And without the info we were fed, most of us would probably assume that Peter is gonna save Nathan so what better way to keep us off-track until the surprise? Still, anything could happen…

What I found strange is that I expected Angela to be more emotive about Peter going at Sylar. She should’ve gone “I just lost one son, I don’t want to lose another. You’re staying here.” or something.

@sk damn nice call on Peter copying Rene’s ability (if it is possible at all). Or at least bring him around to even the field like you said. Are we going to get a powerless Peter vs powerless Sylar fight? That sounds both intriguing and hilarious, especially considering the preview showing us Peter nailing Sylar down with a nail pistol, and the picture featured on odi-blogspot showing Sylar with a nail in the eye.

I think either the haitian is involved, or Nathan uses Sylar’s IA or access his memory in order to figure where he moved his damn vulnerable spot. If he moved it behind his left eye then perhaps Peter will be able to control him. We didn’t see Peter nail him but we heard Sylar scream like it hurted A LOT, and it’s not natural of him. That preview reminded me of the scene where HRG slits Sylar’s throat. My hopes aren’t high for Nathan, but I sure hope his departure will coincide with a neutering of Sylar. He’s been long due for some toning down.

Man, this is getting good and Samuel killed Joseph as we all suspected and his power is no joke! And from Joseph’s words, we can suspect the painting we saw of the planet creaking up is Samuels’ power magnified! Joseph said he could move mountains and cities literally and that is crazy! Still wondering WHEN Peter will get his abilities back, Please Kring, It’s almost two seasons now and I hope this isn’t the Peter we’ll have forever…it’s too annoying watching him not be able to fight the big battles anymore and regardless if Sylar can heal, it would be good to see him shoot a flame or using Tracy’s ability which he took and beat his ass for a little while….Give Pete his powers back! Don’t like that I had to watch Sylar power up all of S3/V2 while PEte “improvised” and now this fucker has his body back and PEte is still helpless…Come on, hopefully something happens soon, but regardless, can’t complain about the overall season as it has been really good with balance.

True, it would make more sense that Claire’s ability manifested at that point when I think about it… she might not have been actually born with it, but she was very young when that incident happened.

But as for Sylar’s blood… I would think that similar rules apply as they did when Peter had the power, and I’m pretty sure it was said that his blood couldn’t heal. As I said above tho, if they wanted to they could always write it in where Sylar is able to consciously access the passive (automatic) aspect of the Regen ability thru IA, keeping it ’switched on’ as it were, coz it’s an ability that seems to only kick in when it needs to – it can’t usually be consciously activated like, say, TK or Electricity or even Flight. That’s what I meant by “trigger the Regen power consciously”… in other words, mentally control it and keep it active as opposed to passive, therefore maintaining a state where his blood has healing properties… possibly.
