Wow, despite all the talk here that the show is going down hill which of course it is….isn’t anyone a little shocked…
Despite the Claire scenes to be fair the show is still entertaining, it isn’t a heroes season 1 and the writers are still pissing us off with the pete plot line, however it’s still heroes right!?
All I am saying is that this show can be fixed within 1 40 minute episode, and it would be a pity to see it go. ( This episode ends with peter getting his powers back and claire leaving for india for half the season).
I think one of the biggest problems for me (excluding the frequently talked about ones) would be how the pen men have been limiting the heroes universe since season 3.
We could now theorise the return of danko as someone who publically goes after the specials, that was what we were told was it not!? That danko would be left out there…but no he had to be killed.
Now I am not going to go on a rampage on how they messed up killing all villains including adam and mory (who could have faked his death btw). However now they are seriously limited and thus the mystery is also limiting.
We cannot predict what danko may do like we have been trying to predict the return of sampson gray.
I now believe that claude, molly, sampson, alice, micah and his cousin will never make a return. They are not yet killed and so they have that potential, but the writers don’t want to please the fans. Tim Kring does not want to please the fans.
This show needs to be bought. That is the solution because the writers have become stale and used up all their imagionation.
It now needs to be governed by good writing, anything ebtter than what we have now, as well as a feaseable budget.

We were PROMISED Company flashbacks before last season. The only thing we got was Noah’s recruitment.
In last GN, Kaito says he left Japan to flee his destiny. I’ll be pissed to death if they put in a f*cking GN the confirmation of his ability (which is presumed to be the ability to see the outcome of every action). This SO needs to be on screen. It would be terribly wrong to stuff that in a GN. Unless… unless they plan to end the show in GNs…
Sorry people, there is no saving this show….too much changing of writers over the years and a complete lack of vision/creativity by Kring has destroyed this show…it’s over and with the last season I just watched, I can say without a hesitation “GOOD and THANK GOD!” At least I won’t be duped into believing more BS, watching Claire take up all the screentime and having ep after ep with plotholes and inconsistencies to how the story developed….cartoons are written better than this last season and I believe it should just end….I personally don’t want to watch another ep and could care less what they do because I know already they won’t fix it and have lost the path of where to take the show…even with all the scenarios we speculated that should happen or where they can save it, they won’t….Kring is stubborn and it likes he tries to chastize the fans as if we’re the one’s who messed up the script while talking about the availibility of other actors….BULLSHIT!! You couldn’t even draw up solid scenarios for the one’s you have under contract now who are on the show so this excuse about “other actors” is another escape route for this disaster he turned the show into….he’s finished and so is this show…..RIP Heroes!
The most ironic is that I’m a firm believer that if Kring managed to make a 12-13 ep “Finale Season” that wraps everything up including Super Peter, people would beg for a follow-up, even those who throwed the towel.
But my expectations aren’t high for Kring to be able to deliver that.
Seriously, it is impressively flabbergasting how Kring managed to throw up this horrible season 2nd half, more importantly the finale. It’s like he wanted to make sure nobody nor their mom looked forward to an eventual S5.
I wonder if it’s vanity, arrogance or incompetence that made Kring sink his own ship like that. Perhaps it’s a mix of all of those.
I bet that Kring is planning super peter for a series finali…to please the fans…it would just annoy me.
The gn’s show the shows potential, it focuses to much time on claire…end of story.
So if the penmen stop fking claire behind the scenes then maybe we will get a suitable plot next season. Someone needs to write them a letter.

I haven’t even thought of Heroes since the Finale. I went back to my bread and butter and caught up on 24. I have a new plot line… Claire falls from the top of the wheel and the US government sends in Jack Bauer.

Awwww shit … this will never happen. Chances of this are about as good as the “pen men” actually giving us what we want.
Anyways, watching shows like 24, True Blood, and others reminded me of what hooks me to a show. Continuity, plot progression, and ability to maintain the stronger characters of the show have been missing from Heroes for quite sometime. I think the only way I would ever be excited about this crap again would be for the show to be bought by another channel with new writers and producers at the help. If not for Krings idiocy, we could be talking about Heroes as one of the best and most imaginative shows within the last 10 years. Argggg… Never mind… back to Jack Bauer….

I am sure that Brave New World will go ahead and to be dead serious, as many fans predicted years ago…the days when my friends actually watched the show, there will be a maximum of 5 seasons.
This last one will end with peter getting his powers back, that would be so typical of kring.
A few mains will die at the end as well as it will either have that ending where peter decides to go back to change it all, realising that the specials can never have a brave new world, or they will finally be embraced.
To piss us all off with all seriousness, they will primise a masisive plotline for someone eg. tracy, but then kill her in the premier.
There is potential:
- Alice plotline.
- Barbarbra plotline.
- Peter regaining powers plotline.
- Claire and sylar plotline.
- Anything to do with tracy.
- New company.
And that is just one fan coming with it on the spot, this show CAN be saved, however because of many circumstances that we are all to well aware of (penmen, claire, no superpeter = no fans (no gotchay).) the show will ultimately fail but will have an awsome series finalie.
Those are my honest predictions, how about you and seriously that is how i see it, they could ssave the show…remember the charlie ep last season? that had the season 1 feel we all loved because they revisisted those gd plotlines…oh and claire was barely in it (raise ur hand if u went to the bathroom during her scene lol!…and not for sexual purposes as the writers seem to only include her as they believe that is why we watch heroes…the IRONY OF IT ALL LOL!)

Alexx, yes unfortunately even I will still wonder what will happen….I wish I could be Hatianed so I never knew this show existed…on a bright note, HEROES had a 30% increase to DVR so that’s where a majority of the viewers are still watching as most of my friends do….on the shitty note, they mentioned wrapping it up in a 12 – 13 EPISODE SEASON?? That I would DEFINITELY not watch because you can’t fix all the ills in a matter of minutes and would probably start killing people off without reason…if it’s a full season, as much as I want to give Kring a soccer kick in the ass, I would still find myself at least wondering what’s going on….12 eps is a waste of time seriously…
My only problem with villains, the only problem i…okay i had many problems, but my big one was how short it was. I have never actually explained that…but to state the obvious, they packed too much into a few eps. It had an amazing start but before you know it adam is dead. He took the role of villain for about 5 minutes…then arther comes up…everything was just so rushed from there, it really should have been a full season imo.

well you do raise that interesting point that if he is taking a year off they will have a lot of time to plan and write. If they do take a year to do it, they can make a final season 5 that rivals season 1. They can spend time on the effects, shoot the scenes until they are perfect, and most of all, they can actually write!

a 13ep finale season would be atrocious. it would take 13 episodes just to close the loops of every characters. They can’t do that properly in a world that just drastically changed because of Claire’s moronic actions.

Well all seems to be back in order now, the only problem is…there is nothing to discuss…the last ep gave us very little material to talk about and our predictions are never even close to the writers’ rubbish anyway.

Grunberg said on this Twitter said in an interview that he’s very confident for another one or two seasons.
Sendhil Ramatury is playing on another show, so that means we might have less (or not at all) of them next season if any.
Claire is an animal activist trying to shut Sea Worldr.
No GN this week as they’re re-hashing old ones instead, so I guess they decided to stop giving us essential information in there.

We can always discuss the layout of the new page here…personally I preffered the old one solely for it’s ‘heroes’ appearance, but as Matej probably realises, the show may not be on for very much longer.
I like mohinder but anything is worth claire leaving, you see what i loved about season 1 was how they didn’t jsut hand out unexplanatory powers…they explained them with the primatech files remember? It was linked to science unlike heroes mum’s line of ’some things are greater than science’ which contradicted the entire show.
If there is another season I am exited for all the characters in the brave new world except ‘her’. Seriously it could be interesting to see how it all plays out…we have only ever heard glimpses of this future…
If it were me, being forced to head along this plot line, i would set it one year ahead of the last season so as to ‘cut the crap’. It would begin with peter commenting on how the violence against him from non-specials led to his power evolving to something even greater than his old one. It would be the ‘terrorist’ thing we caught in FYG…. really anything without she who must not be named would be good.

As far as I’m concerned this season was basically over when “Nathan” gave up on fighting Sylar and fell down that roof.
The Matt/Sylar/”Nathan” arch was by far the most compelling one. In my humble opinion they should’ve stuck with it for the whole season instead of getting rid of Pasdar. There were countless storylines to explore with this, from making “Nathan” succumb to the hunger, to have Sylar’s spooky ghost harass him like he harassed Matt.
They could’ve, you know, showed us the inner struggle instead of just giving us Nathan’s sad face saying “He’s killing me”. Ultimately, Peter could’ve used telepathy not to free Sylar, but to team up with his brother to finally get rid of Sylar.
The most irritating factor of this season was generalized though and I cannot really point at a specific episode: FAILURE. This whole season seemed to be themed around failure.
Noah was lamentable; he failed to save Jerry and allowed Samuel to kidnap the blonde chick. He caused several casualties in the name of his relationship with his retarded daughter. The only thing I can give him is that he hooked up a pretty cool woman, but he almost f’d that up by bullying her.
Peter was worst than ever. He failed to save his brother, he couldn’t use teleportation properly, he took not one but two gun shots, he bullied Emma and got forced to accept that the only way to save her was to rescue his nemesis from coma…
“Nathan” gave up on fighting Sylar, which ultimately lead to his demise.
Matt was pathetic trying to be a man-at-home and refrain himself from using his ability.
Hiro went through hell to save Charlie and she ended-out 50 years older.
Suresh went back to his whiny b*tch instead of helping Noah and others to prevent a world-shattering catastrophe.
Danko got trivially executed after being so resourceful in the past.
Tracy failed at controlling her ability.
Writers failed at entertaining us…
milo’s been cast in a new movie, depending on production dates he might not be in time to start filming s5 (well if there is a s5) !!!

I don’t think it would have any incidence. I mean, Hayden and Ali both shot a movie respectively last season and it’s not like Claire’s presence was lowered in any way.
I also recall Hayden wanting to shoot another series but Kring brought out the contract and refused to let her go. Meaning he probably contractually hold them by the jewels for a while still.

A new season being fast-forwarded like 6month or 1year in the future? That would certainly set an interesting pace.
It would be confusing, but at least it would give writers a totally blank card to keep us hooked with tons of mysteries. “wtf happened during this year?”, “wtf is going on right now?”, “wtf is gonna happen in the future?”.
