Episode Recap: Heroes Season 2 Episode 2 “Lizards”

Peter ( Milo Ventimiglia) begins the episode tied to a chair getting beaten up by the Irish thugs who want their iPods. Peter off course doesn’t remember anything. Afterwards an Irish girl named Caitlin ( Irish thug sister ) shows up to wash Peter off. She notices that he doesn’t have a stratch on him.
Later on he uses “Walk through walls” ability to get out of his bindings while Caitlin is being attacked by some Irish gang guys, Peter helps her out using his powers. Now, he stuck in the middle of an Irish gang war, and the leader ( Caitlin brother) blackmails Peter into helping him because he has a box with Peter’s possessions and informations about who he is.

Claire ( Hayden Panettiere) is still whining about living a secret double life. Mr. Bennet, her father sees a newspaper article about Kaito’s death. He knew that it was coming because he has an Isaac Mendez original painting showing Kaito’s death, and says it’s the first in the series of eight.
Claire is in science class, learning about how lizards have the ability to regenerate limbs. She gets really into it asking all sorts of questions to professor. After the class, West approaches her talking about genetics and Mohinder’s dad’s book. He asks her does she want to check the same book, but Claire notices that her car is gone which stopped the conversation. Claire tells her dad, and she goes off on a rant about how maybe her powers can help other people. Mr. Bennet warns her that it’s not safe because the government would run invasive test on her or something…
That night she tests to see if she really is a lizard by cutting off her toe with scissors. It grows back, but West is outside the window stalking her. She runs out, but he’s gone leaving Mohinder’s dad’s book.

Matt Parkman ( Greg Grunberg ) is on the Deveaux roof investigating Kaito’s death. Angela as being interrogated and she implies she slept with Kaito a long time ago. She said that Godsend symbol was the logo of her husband’s law firm. Parkman reads her mind about how someone wants revenge, but she mentally screams for him to get out of her head. Later on, some unseen figure attacks Angela while she was alone in the investigating room.
Mohinder (Sendhil Ramamurhy) gets an assignment. Someone in the Caribbean has fallen ill to the mutant virus that can only be cured my Mohinder’s blood. Sick person appears to be the Haitian. Mohinder offers him help to save him, which he does. When he “accidentally” lets it slip that he works for a company, puff! Haitian erases Mohinder’s mind of the entire Haitian vacation. Tobolowsky ( guy that can turn stuff into gold) forgives him for his “beginners mistake”.
Later on Mohinder gets on the phone with Mr. Bennet and lets him know about the mission. Mr. bent informs Mohinder that he’ll find the other 7 paintings on his own. When he gets off the phone, the Maitian is standing there, smiling.

Hiro ( Masi Oka ) tries to sober up his hero, Takezo Kensei to save the day. When he fails, he takes Kensei’s armor and rides off on the horse. With his space-time manipulation skills he disarms twelve samurai warriors and saves the girl. Hiro convinces Kensei to follow him to save girls dad because he sees financial profit from it ( and because Hiro is going to do everything ). They exit a building, and samurai warriors fill Kensei with arrows. He dies, but the wounds heal themselves. Looks like Kesei is a real Hero after all.

Maya and Alejandro show up to an old family friend’s house for some shelter. A random healer lady tries to help Maya, because Alejandro said that Maya is really sick and that’s the reason they are running away. A lady sees true evil power in her, enough “to kill the devil”. She runs away.
They try to cross the border with family friend into Mexico. Everything was great till they saw that police was approaching them. Maya and family friend succed to escape into some tunnel while Alejandro was left behind. Maya doesn’t want to leave her brother because she needs him. She starts to cry, her eyes start bleeding and she kills the family friend. Later on Alejandro shows up and apparently he has a power to reverse eye blood thing. That’s why Maya needs him.
