One little phrase: “Noah you jerk!” Noah has been trying to kill the monster he created. That makes me so mad! >:-Z Well all the characters make me a little angry, maybe Noah will make up for his actions later.

Elle basically sets it up to look like she was cheating on Gabriel with another guy – coincidentally someone with abilities.
This could answer the question of where Sylar copied some of his abilities in Season 1.
Maybe his Freezing Power or Short Distance teleportation( In a interview last year, they confirmed that Sylar did have the ability to teleport).
It looks like Sylar had a bit of control over his Hunger, but thanks to ELLE and HGR, the hunger was allowed to grow and consume the poor guy.

We’ve known for weeks it’s a past episode.
They didn’t confirm that Sylar could teleport but that he had the ability to camouflage himself and hence how he often appeared from nowhere. He also could use his telekinesis to levitate.
I think there are at least three abilities of Sylar’s that no-one knows about. Hopefully this episode will fill in some of the gaps. I’m betting on the idea that his victim here has the ability to freeze things.
