Cool! Thank you!

OMG Cool Elle

Zack October 22, 2008 at 7:57 pm

Nice. When we found out Arthur could take people’s abilities, I kind of figured he would take Maya’s at some point.

Xalvin October 22, 2008 at 9:51 pm

Oh no, if he takes Maya’s, thats really bad news.
I wonder when will they feature Maya again. I love her acting, just that her ability is wicked.
AND WHERE is Monica! She should be returning to this season right? I thought she’s suppose team up with Micah to fight Knox in New Orleans.

Meathook49 October 22, 2008 at 10:54 pm

I hope this is the episode where Maya is killed off.

Cool to see Nathan and Meredith talking, I hope there’s eventually a scene with Tracy and Meredith fighting!

Mateo October 23, 2008 at 1:43 am

@ Meathook49.
Dude, that would be freakin’ amazing! Fire vs. Ice. How AWESOME!
Liking the Claire and Elle scenes, and getting rid of Maya (maybe…). Can wait!

Tarot October 23, 2008 at 1:54 am

Thank you for these though I was hoping for a reference to Elle’s adventures in the GN. Either it will crop up Monday the 27 or I have to wait until Tuesday the 28 to learn what becomes of Claude, my favorite hero.

Julian October 23, 2008 at 3:08 am

Tarot . You`re such a big fan of Claude .

Tracy vs Meredith…haha.

Simon Traversy October 23, 2008 at 7:21 am

Hi, my name’s Simon and I’m an avid fan of Heroes. I liked every single show so far (and yes that includes season 2). I thought that the fans were maybe a bit too hard when they criticized the shoe. Season 2 which was cut short because of the writer’s strike, yet Tim Kring and his funky bunch of writers listened to the complaints, listened to ”customers”’ needs and did the proper adjustments: the pace is faster, there’s more action, and they put the emphasis back on the heroes and villains as a whole and less on the sometimes useless details of every hero’s personal life…oh and I love the redeeming, repenting Sylar. Yet, there’s still one thing that wasn’t corrected after season 2 and that still bothers me to this day: Peter’s stupidity. I mean it’s sad because in the first season he was my favorite: dreamy, idealistic and maybe a bit naive but nothing drastic. Then it all went south in season 2: he followed Adam blindly in his quest for world destruction believing that Adam actually wanted to safe it and despite the warnings of Hiro, who gave him a hand by stabbing Sylar in the chest at Kerby plaza. Peter just fried Hiro and kept following Adam blindly without having read Hiro’s thoughts and memories of feudal Japan and without even reading Adam’s mind to see his true intentions. Then on the same episode, Peter spent 20 minutes trying to open a vault one screw at a time instead of just phasing through it. Then in the new season, his future self who travelled back in time to ”fix” everything just ended making everything worse (he’s still cool though: hardened, brooding using multiple powers all at once) and now Peter’s latest faux pas: losing his powers to his father by leaving his guard down. I mean come on Mr Kring, you can do better than ” give your dad a hug”. How moronic can Peter actually get? Is that his real innate power? I mean the room is filled with people mass murderers. Two of them from level 5 that wanted him dead at the bank and Daphnee who also tried to kill him the future. The only person he’s never met in his life, in the present or future,is Maury who could have used his telepathy to ccreate and illusion, distracting Peter. The illusion could have been something like seeing Simone all covered in blood, Isaac blaming him for DSimone’s death, Caithlin begging him to not leave her, powering up Know with Peter’s fear. And just when Peter starts snapping out of it by undertanding what’s going on (sylar’s intuitive aptitude) bang! gets his lights punched out by Knox and when he wakes up, Peter, now powerless,is lying on a bed located in a level five; a bit like he was in Sylar’s level 5 cell. So you see, there’s a way to get where you wanna go without insulting the viewer’s intelligence. Even with Sylar’s power, who technically should have made him smarter, he’s still the show’s village idiot. Technically like Mohinder said in ”five years gone” their powers are hard-coded in their DNA meaning Peter still has initial power to absorb other people’s abilities but still, the causes, NOT THE CONSEQUENCES annoy me. So that being said, I just hope that Mr. Kring and his team will work on it before Peter ends up in a catatonic state by next season.

Inside Info October 23, 2008 at 7:10 pm

Just so you guys know, inside source here. Basically to sum it up, Peter has to start from scratch with his powers, but he still has them, his father doesn’t know that. You will see this when he falls from a building but regenerates when Clara comes up to him. This is in episode 7.

Thank you Simon Traversy for saying what I’ve been thinking..you put it so elegantly too….
Peter is really acting in the bush league and should really man up.
And Sylar is the man and should eff everyones sh@t up fo realzys. He could do it too…so come on Sylar make mummy proud!
And Claire…gooood god…maybe there’s something wrong with us wah wah wah wah Arthur please please please take her powers and then punch her in the face…fell somethin now sweety?
I’m sorry..bit outta line but she’s been carrying on this crap from Day 1, the whole “there’s something wrong with me, i’m not human, no one understands” ENOUGH.

Mihajlo October 24, 2008 at 12:48 am

So if Peter has his own power why didn’t he collect all the powers from Arthur?
Anyway I think it’s ok to take away all the other powers but his own. He’ll eventually meet Sylar, Hiro, Elle, Nathan…….. and he’ll have most of the powers but Sylar’s

Cory October 24, 2008 at 1:03 am

What will happen is this. Similar to Hiro losing his power in Season 1. Peter is in such shock from losing his powers that he cant access them. Something passive like Claires regeneration will jump start him back. Just like the poster said about him falling from the building in episode 7. Thought I thought I saw a screencap somewhere of him bloodied up. Great theory though and I hope its true that his powers do come back that way.

GR October 24, 2008 at 2:04 am

Okay everyone . The Haitan is a big problem. People say that everyones powers dont work around him but that is not true. Season one parkman was able to read past hiro’s mind with the Hatian in room stopping hero from teleporting… Also future peter this season died while hatian was there should he have regenerated after the hatian was out

Mihajlo October 24, 2008 at 3:08 am

Maybe the Haitian can chose whose power does he stop.

milo October 24, 2008 at 6:17 pm

i reckon that meredith might have something to do with barbara maybe or like could be her or meredith will be related to tracy/barbara/nikki in some way

Mihajlo October 24, 2008 at 8:22 pm

Nathan was with Niki and now he’s with Tracey :S

Tydeus October 26, 2008 at 12:35 am

I still wonder if Hiro’s power works all over the world, and if it does.. would the Haitian be paused? If not and it’s only stopped in Hiro’s area.. wouldn’t that kinda screw up time?

I agree, Claire is really annoying and she should stop whining. Maya needs to die. Peter needs to take an ability to make him smart (or maybe he should go back in time to when he was at school and merge with himself so he can actually get an education). Also, would be sweet for him to have Monica’s ability too ^^.

I don’t see Sylar staying good all this season, sure the future shows him good, I myself want him to stay good, but he’ll turn back to his old ways, thats pretty pathetic I think. Oh and I hope Elle doesnt die, she’s kinda my favourite character.. basically because Kristen Bell is hot :) I heard she was originally cast to be Meredith’s daughter, Claire’s sister, but they removed it due to plot holes or w/e.

Also, I’ve read the stuff about Peter regaining his ability in the comments, I hope thats the case and stuff, but if he didnt get them back.. wouldn’t it be possible for him to steal the formula and gain synthetic abilities? And with his genetic power being Empathic Mimicry (or whatever), the synthetic ability would simply give him that power back, free for him to regain his other abilities too.

Oh and Sylar also started again with his abilities according to Behind the Eclipse. Somehow he kept ahold of Telekinesis, sure in the future he as Issac and Ted’s powers, but he could’ve gained them during those 4 years.

Sorry for rambling. Bring back Claude!

qt.jen October 27, 2008 at 4:28 pm

I’m pretty sure the Hatian can choose whos powers he wants to supress. I think future Peter died because Claire shot him in the back of the head. Unless they went in and took out all the bullet fragments he would remain dead. The head is the sweet spot for the regenerating Heroes.

@ Tydeus

“Bring back Claude!”

I second that …Onscreen. Have you seen the latest Graphic novel? Claude is in it.
