I’m also wondering if they’re leaning toward dark Claire. Perhaps they can’t stand anymore to have any fans and their mom complain about this character and they wanna try something new with her.
If Noah and/or Peter ally with Sylar to take Samuel down while keeping her in the dark yet again, she will certainly tilt off.
But I got the feeling that Sylar will get into her College room looking for answers, that she will resist at first but then will soothe him as he starts crying because he cannot kill anymore. Sounds very ironic I admit… but this would be very clairebear-ish; she already did it with Doyle, the vortex dude, and more recently with Samuel.
Think about it, why would Sylar want to see Claire again? Her ability cannot fix him since he already has it. He’s going there because she’s been his obsession since season one. He’s lonely, and perhaps he believes she could understand himand hopes she could help him somehow.
Perhaps this is the beginning of a bigger emphasis on “not so much” in Sylar’s “evil but not so much” character. Season 3 Sylar was interesting in that he was still badass while “fighting the good fights”. What if Nathan actually did something to him while he was in control? I know this is far fetched, but Nathan had I.A too… If Sylar could use shapeshifting to move a physical spot around, Nathan could’ve used it to change the genetic/chemical element that gives the potency to kill. I know this is unlikely because Sylar almost killed Angela mere hours before Nathan jumped off the rooftop. A more plausible idea (hinted during the Sylar+Lydia scene), is that Sylar was overwhelmed by Matt’s and Nathan’s family memories when taking back full control of his body. This combined with the fact that he already felt lonely could make his sub-conscience short-circuit his kills. Sylar would now pretty much be like a domesticated cat who catches mice without killing/eating them. He chases because his instinct makes it fun for him, but other than toying with his prey, he doesn’t actually kill it.
once again, the hopes for a darker claire, the hopes for a real peter and the hopes that we have always experessed (kaitlin! kaitlin dammit!) will remain hopes because if peter was repowered it wouldnt be long until he was as strong as sylar who f.d now says needs to b depowered.
i worked out that tattoo power is a combination of molly’s finding and clairsententience right?
if sylar doesnt die or become good soon he will get too powerful, that is why they made peter weak and i dont see them changing it any time soon.
MATEJ!!!!! New Links please, where are you bro??
here, will do
@F.D. Dark Claire is a very likely possibility and it could come between the difference in Peter and her thinking eventually whether he has to side with Sylar and she’s against it and feels she can’t even trust him (as she mentioned he’s the only person she can trust now) and that would probably ultimately break her!
As far as Pete, my frustration knows no bounds with what they’ve done to his character…it’s like taking away Superman’s powers for 2 seasons in Smallville and making everyone else powerful…they made Tracy more powerful, Samuel, Sylar, Matt, etc,….it’s almost like why is he even in the show at this point, for sentimental reasons?? And they wonder why they’ve lost viewers and the show would be in danger….they put 5 minutes if even that total of action in a 2 hour ep which we all discussed during December thinking would be action packed and start with a bang…instead we heard dialogue after dialogue and even the HRG/Edgar scene basically took time and became irrelevant…for how good the season was going, it was an extreme disappointment to me to have a 2 hour ep of talking…I mean the guy who could create plant life was cool and the Samuel/Sylar 15 sec incident, other than that it was pure crap to me….I’m really only watching at this point hoping Kring and Co. won’t disappoint and have something major happen because really nothing changed in this ep….everything felt rushed like Claire automatically just “feeling” something was wrong after she was so strung on being there…now she’s Sherlock Holmes….well, I guess we’ll see the rest playout my friends and sorry for being so negative today but the Peter dilemna is finally starting to weigh on me…
@Matej, thanks buddy!
