” Four Months Later” - My Thoughts
First off all I can’t imagine how difficult it is to write and work together all the different stories going on. There are tons, tons of questions now, only a few answers. Not to mention theories, I could write a whole book of them at the moment.
It’s great to see that the 2nd season premiere of “Heroes” on NBC scored 14.12 million viewers, that’s 30.000 more than the pilot last year. Since the show fared much worse in the spring, and more viewers may be keeping up with the show on DVR now, this is a very good start.
Overall I’m happy with season premiere. But there were some things I didn’t liked, like death of Kaito Nakamura. I mean… PLEASE! THAT’S IT? Pushing someone off a building? Isn’t Hiro’s dad supposed to have uber cool powers? And who is “The Evil Hoodie Guy”? My thoughts are it could be West. Why you ask?
First you will notice that West is looking into Clair’s window, not with an in-love look, but a rather devious one. Notice he is wearing a … blue hoody unzipped with the hood down (you can see the hood when he flies away). The next clip is Hiro’s dad on the roof and who shows up? A guy in a blue hoody zipped up with the hood up, and their body size is also the same. You can read the whole thing and watch the video at Heroes The Series.
Also, Nathan was in each scene the death pictures were sent. First was when Ando bumped in someone when we was bringing Kaito coffee and newspapers and second one when we had argue with his mom. Is Nathan killing off Lindermans group because he knows they are evil, remember he told his mom she was evil? Which brings us to Nathan – West possible relationship. Did I mention they both can fly?
West. He is somehow creepy, mysterious. I believe he is more involved already then we think.
There’s one more Nathan mystery going on. His face or Peter’s face? The guy’s soul has been scarred that’s for sure. He feels his brother is alive, but doesn’t know where Peter is. He almost helped to blow up a major city. He’s an alcoholic. His view of his mother that he loved is now that she’s evil. He drove his wife and children away. He is not in congress on the way to the white house. I believe it’s his imagination of Peter’s face last time he saw him.
The Kensei storyline. I didn’t liked, It’s a classic storyline where the protagonist travels back in time to find out his hero isn’t what he thought, so he ends up either being the hero or bringing the legendary person into hero status. Humor helped the scenes “ My sword, my sword!” though…
Oh, I almost forgot, Parkman’s divorce sucks! All that pain and effort of trying to save the marriage for nothing? And she’s pregnant by the way….
I’m glad to see Peter back. I think he could be a bad guy during some time this season. He lost his memory, and I red somewhere that he absorbed Niki’s power in season finale (Season 1). Well se what happens in next episode before I make some judgments and opinions.
If you need any screencaps just ask for them.

Indeed, this episode created a lot of new questions.
Overall, it was too slow paced for my taste. I think Peter was the first character I wanted the focus to be on after what happened in the finale, but they shoved him in right at the end.
Did we really need to see so much Claire? I didn’t liked the cheerleader stuff, It’s so like first season
Cheers!
hehe
How many times they showed Nissam comercial? 4-5 times
I think that Kensei storyline isn’t that lame, i like it!
I agree with your first line how difficult it is to write and work together all the different stories going on for this episode.
I give it 4/5
First of all, thank you all for your feedbacks.
Just like I thought, everybody has their own opinion about this episode.
@Ivan
Yeah, I agree with you, there was maybe little bit much of it. Also, when they had familly dinner, was this necessarily? Maybe that has example what they are trying to do now, be ordinary, but…
I don’t think that the Hiro/Kensei storyline is about Hiro helping Kensei to be a hero but rather about the history of the powers in Hiro’s family.
Hi, Hugh
Well I won’t change my mind that storyline seemed little bit unoriginal, but after watching Lizards I would agree with you at some point. There’s much more with Hiro/Kensei storyline, not just saving the princess, becoming a hero….
Yatta!
